Thanks. I am actually looking for the Mossberg SA 20 that Donk recommended. After a lot of research I have to decided to get one if I can find it.

No law against having a 12 and a 20.
:D
If I see one, I will holler.
I just never have been a Mossy fan, but they have improved in the past 15 or 20 years.

Only "bad" thing about pistol gripped shotguns is that most people cannot move the safety to "fire" without breaking their grip to do so.Got this one today. The laser/green flashlight is damn cool.
I dont like the pistol grip at all. It just doesnt feel right.Only "bad" thing about pistol gripped shotguns is that most people cannot move the safety to "fire" without breaking their grip to do so.
I was trying to be politeI dont like the pistol grip at all. It just doesnt feel right.
I have a Remington 870 12 Gauge. My wife is not very receptive to pistols so I thought the 20 Gauge tactical may be a good option. I will try ordering one. Thanks

If the safety is on the trigger guard, like A Remington or a Benelli, then ok. But a tang safety with a pistol grip sucks.Only "bad" thing about pistol gripped shotguns is that most people cannot move the safety to "fire" without breaking their grip to do so.
Safety is up top on Mossbergs and is easier to access(thumb) than the 870 where it is behind the trigger guard. The main problem I could see with an autoloader being pistol gripped is perhaps someone might not put enough shoulder behind it to cycle properly....now all Brad needs is one of these contraptionsOnly "bad" thing about pistol gripped shotguns is that most people cannot move the safety to "fire" without breaking their grip to do so.
Again, i was being polite. ;)Pistol grip shotguns are only good for movie gun battles in my opinion
Yup, but we can see where his is. ;)If the safety is on the trigger guard, like A Remington or a Benelli, then ok. But a tang safety with a pistol grip sucks.
I had an 870 turkey gun with a pistol grip and collapsible stock. Hardest rectilinear gun I have ever shot. Traded it in on a G17.

Santa Claus brought me a Remington 1100 for Christmas in 1973, so the safety on the trigger guard is quite ingrained in me.
Mine was stolen '77 or so. The replacement was stolen in '80 or so. I switched to the 870 so I could shoot 3 inch buckshot, still have the 870.I got one for my birthday in 1968. Pawned it pot in 71
