Turns out we're only half ass "woke". If we were really committed to it stricklin would be gone. The gatorbait chant is racist but it's ok to abuse women? Hopefully we can promote that former Auburn AD. He had the balls to hire Bruce pearl, maybe he'll have the balls to hire Hugh freeze.
Yeah, maybe when Hugh Freezes over.

Think we are saying the same sofla.... While I do believe the administration is looking for excuses to keep him. There is no real logical reason to keep him. We lost all three games not because we couldn't compete, obviously by outgaining the opponent we could compete. They were all lost due to coaching decisions, play-calling, personnel, staff decisions, etc... And I also agree Muschamp had a bigger argument to stay on than Mullen does, especially being there is four years of results as opposed to three.

That guy may be a bigger dick head than Mullen. I'm glad we've reached a point were grown ass men who are paid millions of dollars to coach a kids game can't sit behind a microphone and answer simple questions. Fuch that guy and Mullen too.

He's been in Pittsburgh forever. To imply that he's a candidate for another job, especially a college job could be insulting imo. I can kinda see where he's coming from. The other fully entrenched coaches ain't having to answer those questions.

Ok, I get that he's entrenched. But just as a point of reference, Dan Mullen makes almost the same amount of money he does, and guys like Fisher, Saban, and a handful of others make more. I would think Usc would only come calling if it would be a lucrative move for him. So again, it's a question about a possible job that may actually increase your pay and land you at one of the most prestigious jobs in the country. Not giving him a pass any more than I do Mullen. You're a head coach with millions in annual compensation. Get thicker skin and stop whining.

Look at the two names that he mentioned, guys with similar length careers at their spots, worse winning percentage, less division wins, and same number of rings. Why is he mentioned and not those two. This was a more calculated statement than it looks.

Well, Reid is dismissed for both religious reasons and the fact that the guy has the personality of a cardboard box. He wouldn't last a month in college, outside of Utah or BYU, neither of which could afford his salary.

Payton I guess is a fair example. I still don't see the major issue. His reasons for why it's a silly question(the prestige of the job, being entrenched as a Yinzer, etc) make total sense. The question is moronic. I just don't find it to be insulting.

That situations are different. Reid has Patrict Mahomes locked in forever and he is coming off a sb appearance and a ring the year before. He isn't leaving that.

Tomlin has a mediocre team with an aged mediocre Roethlisberger.

Red flag there. It was funny as shcit when kirby did it a few years ago, wouldn't be so funny when it happened to us. Kinda like Grantham, we laughed our ass off when he was at Georgia, not so funny now.

It was racist because other big name NFL coaches were not the subject of the same rumor. I like Tomlin but he is a bit thin skinned and easily triggered.

He’s VERY thin skinned and he would claim racism every time he lost to a team with a white coach.

FYI, Tomlin would have screamed racism if Payton and Reid had been mentioned instead of him.

His act would wear thin quickly. He should stay in the NFL cocoon where he his BS is not only tolerated it’s encouraged

@Brett_McMurphy: NCAA announces USF failed to monitor football program under Charlie Strong. USF gets 3-years probation, fined $10,000 plus Strong gets 1-game suspension if he returns to college
