Stricklin is too busy hiding

But that says so much in itself. The silence from him amidst the current narrative tells me there's simply nothing he's comfortable to say in public and/or is hitched to Mullen's star enough that he knows he's in jeopardy as well.

I think his "sh*t" is out on the streets (i.e. he's damaged goods right now). Maybe if he was fired a Central Michigan would jump at him, like they did with Butters. But I can't see a P5 saying, "Hey look at the sh*tshow he led at UF! Let's bring that here. Make sure he brings Knox, Grantham, Hevesy, and all the other underachievers with him!" I don't think he'll have a single job offer after the last two seasons (while he's still employed at UF).

I think a school like a VT or even a TCU would take Mullen; they would simply say his overall record isnt bad, brings them to NY6 bowls, etc...

Now Mullen's antics, poor recruiting, etc...that would probably be why they wouldnt offer him

The very fact that Fuchs wont comment on the Womens Bball situation but will do a Tik Tok with a pumpkin speaks volume about the university. Quite honestly and I know it's not realistic but Fuchs, Stricklin, Mullen, White, The assistant womens bball (now acting HC) all should be let go tomorrow...

I agree....but after he's fired/resigns. He'd be able to sit in an interview and BS his way through it about how "he learned some lessons at UF....this is my plan to fix it....I'll prioritize recruiting....bs, bs, bs...." And they could fall for it, because he does have a good enough record that schools like that may fall for it.

only to folks like us who follow the program closely, are willing to view it with a critical eye, and voice honest opinions.

There is an "across-the-FBS" tsunami waving bye-bye to Mullen, admitting that he is destructive for UF & for college football.
He's a leper & he won't change his spots. Cold ass on a hot seat. Stricklin should be fired for cause ... 'cause of Mullen.
Mullen is dead as HC. All we got is Mullen remains.?? I saw a vulture throw his shoo at Mullen; he's just carrion luggage now.

It's a moot point, he will be here and then fired next year...

I can't believe Stricklin is still employed. In this day and age, he should have been canned (or suspended) by now. Something's got to be addressed w/ the woman's bball fiasco....and usually somebody in the admin is offered up - and this one is on him, especially after the raise and extension.

This. And the fact that more and more national people are openly talking about his teams being less talented the further removed from Jim McElwain's classes he becomes is flat out damning. Even the whole QB things looks terrible given that Jones is his guy who's been grooming for half a decade, and the last guy not only wasn't, but was sitting on the bench behind a guy currently assisting the Falcons at TE. It's been a bad look for Mullen all year and people who make these decisions are watching it.

Even the fuch head writers over at gator country are saying Mullen is safe this year as long as he wins out and makes multiple staff changes. But their saying if he loses one more game he's gone this year. I think he's gone this year regardless, not because they fire him but because he want's out and has all but quit already.

I agree with that. Of course our AD will pretend to be caught off guard and will be hiring an unknown analyst from UT chattanooga.

Embrace the suck.

I hate to say I told you so in 2018, but I and many others knew this was going to happen. I am just saddened that it had to happen for those too stoopid to understand who Cousin Eddie was and has been long before he came to UF. Regardless, this is the type of thing that the person who is directly responsible for this can't reverse.

Don;t play hard.
Soft.
undisciplined.

Those things don;t change.

So, we are awaiting a statement from Stricklin indicating “he is our coach, we are fully behind him” as the tell tale Stricklin has been over ruled and Mullen is on his way out?

So you are saying some of our posters are straight up mentally handicapped or have poor eye sight?

many here have gone partially, if not wholly blind. They have the hairy palms to go with it. I can point to 1-3 threads in a certain forum as the main reason why.

Kirby looking at Dan in that pic thinking "WTF are you about to do to me?".

Looks homo to me.

He knows what’s coming. Mullen is getting ready to plant a celebratory kiss. Kirby is overwhelmed by the halitosis.

At least one opposing coach suspects a culture problem.

“You look at them in warmups — guys with their T-shirts hanging out. They look sloppy. A little too nonchalant, too rag-tag,” an SEC assistant coach said. “They think they’re better than they are.”
Sums up Dipsh!t Dan in a single sentence.

Mullen just finished up his press conference and was a complete ass. This is going to be glorious!

As outside consultant, I recommend we make you temporary CEO of the UAA, and you can do what needs to be done. Bring on the "Bobs."

I would clean house and rebuild from the bottom but hell any one of us on here knows that needs to be done

Wasn’t sure which of the Dan Mullen is a Tool threads we have going that would be the best fit for this, so I’ll piggyback off you. Look at his face as soon as the word recruiting is mentioned in the question. Holy smokes this is about to be bad for this guy.

Can you remember when people were saying he is doing better recruiting than Butters... That we are a completely different team. When people questioned those assertions they went on the holier than thou schit about Butters being bad for UF.... Not the continued reduction of talent going on.
