Those of you who started watching during the Spurrier years will, of course, have a different view because you got used to winning - alot. JMO but we have different perspectives, that's all.

The whole point of hundreds of millions spent while the University fund raises off the programs success, is to RAISE EXPECTATIONS. If we are going to settle for being average, just shut the damn thing down.

So using your example, yes, I can get behind Napier winning 8-9 games next year and continuing to build from there. I think most would be ok with that. So is it ok to expect that, or are we going to be labeled spoiled, impossible to please fans if that doesn’t happen and we complain?

And I'm willing to reevaluate after 2023. I'm not dying on this hill. Most of y'all are totally unrealistic.

We don't know what we'll do ESD or in the Portal? We don't know if Napier changes staff? we don't know if Napier brings in an OC or a QB/Passing Scheme guy.

We could have been 8-4 this year with this sad team with some adjustments IMO.

Let this play out. This Swamp Donkey, this guy sucks but when asked never suggests a coach get's old.

We'll know by mid 2023 if things are still bad.

Napier ain't any of those. But yea, if he's not moving forward by 2024 you have a great point.

Chump only needed a good OC and to stay away from the offense: recruiting and play calling but his ego got in the way.

We had two things here BOTH bad: Team Building (Talent) and Play Calling. We know Napier can solve one. The boy knows talent. The question is, can he call plays? If not, is he willing to get someone who can?

This is one area where I can defend Napier. He has nothing to do with 11 of those years, and you can’t rewrite the past. So I do think we have to be careful that we don’t hold him responsible for errors that were before his time.

We don't know if Napier is making it better or worse. We need more data. Until then, either enjoy the ride or stay miserable because he's here at least until 2024.
