At minimum, a decent pick up. He doesn’t have to be all world, his fellow DLs and LBs are what makes a front seven great.

I have no issues taking a Gainesville kid who is a high 3 star. Maybe he will turn out to be a player.

If a 'previous" staff took him we might have doubts considering all the other 3 star commits we would have. Thanking his mom, wants to be close to his baby sister, good kid. This staff doesn’t compromise.

I gotta say, after watching his highlights, I feel a lot better about the take. He is an athletic kid who looks like he has the frame to add a good bit more weight. He may never be all-SEC or a 1st round pick. But he clearly has the ability to be a solid player for us.

Uh-oh. In taking an "inferior" local 3-star from my Alma Mater, we've opened the door for @Gatorbait25 to pipe up again. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife!

Did you mean previous and autocorrect foiled you? Otherwise I would suspect some LOTR reference that escapes me.

What’s the word on 4 star CB Wardell Mack?

There are only a couple CBs on the board and he’s the highest rated target at this position on it.

Seems to be between us and Texas….

Sounds
In state OT Tye Hilton set a commitment date for July 14. I don’t think he’s a take though. I think we are in the hunt for some bigger OL commits.

In the past Hilton would’ve been one of our top commits.

Sounds like we have a TX and Ga kid as backups if Seaton falls thru

We’re still in the running. But I would think that our number one target would be Jamari Howard.

I think if we get Foster and Mincey, we still would take Howard as a +1

Also, it’s being repeated now that Jackson and Williams will play Jack, while Waller will play Jack/ILB. If that’s accurate, we only have two DL’s committed and two and a half edges.

Looks great, but the competition looks bad.
