I hold my members to a high standard, and UteManX brought the level of post quality down to Swamp Gas levels. You guys just never figured out how to properly deal with his backhanded compliments and faux "respect" schtick he puts on. If he's anywhere near as irritating in real life as he is here, you'd jump off a Utah cliff after 5 minutes in his company. I found myself scrolling quickly past some of the most cringeworthy back-and-forths I've ever encountered. I had to skip several pages because I couldn't handle it anymore. My beloved membership had been reduced to THIS?

I'll admit I'm ultimately at fault, as I should have banned the guy a long time ago and spared so many of you such embarrassment. I just never thought it would get that bad. I was planning to do it tonight (win or lose), but I think I'm just going to do it right now. Congrats UteMan, you were our most successful troll since CaneThing. You can return to your many wives with your head held high.

Part of me wants to go back and delete a whole bunch of pages, so that what transpired isn't part of the permanent record here. While I ponder that, I'd like each of you to look into the mirror and make a commitment to bring the level of your post quality back to Gatorchatter levels.

Deep down I really feel that Mertz, Johnson, and Etienne are going to do something special tonight. We may attack the perimeter a bit more, swing passes, and intermediate stuff. I can't get past also that BN is going to let EW3 deep on a fly or perhaps Mizell. We've been hearing tidbits on "don't put much into the depth chart with the WRs." I will be happy as long as there is not a heat seeking missle thrown to a RB/WR in the flat that gets impaled into a DLmen that goes for 6.

Not reading this whole thread but has anyone mentioned how embarrassing it is to be relegated to a Thursday night game?

What’s worse is when your idiot AD says that he’s open to “Additional midweek games in the future”

And some wonder what’s wrong with the athletic department. I was under the impression that UF believed that midweek games were for fledgling programs and the ACC ( sorry for the redundancy) and that we would never agree to changing our tradition.

I guess that 13 years and 4 coaches can result in us being a fledgling program now.

I actually went into that thread for the first time after hearing about the banning in the chat box. I’m the perfect mod, in that I’m rarely ever here, and when I am, I really don’t care. Every now and then I’ll merge stupid threads into one single monument to stupidity, but then I’ll realize I’m actually doing something mod-like, and quickly mix a drink.

I’m most disappointed in @CaseyGator actually. She’s someone who actually cares (for some reason).

I hope to be pleasantly surprised tonight with a solid game plan and consistent, competitive play in all phases of the game.

There's really an entirely new team out there. Very young. Faster and bigger/taller, overall, than last season. Perhaps a bit more talented but with a lot more upside.

A very young team, especially on defense, with a new DC.

Win or lose ... I'm watching.
