We’re not gaining any momentum on the field, and any time we do we’ve immediately given it back. You can’t just keep talking about “building” and “process” while stumbling to 6-6 seasons. Not with who we face in recruiting and with the type of sought after kids we’re pursuing. It won’t work. And this won’t be an isolated case and isn’t already.
No, I think the core of the class will remain, but it’s a zero sum game and if we lose even a few more commits, it will swing things real quick. And no, it’s not good when a kid decides the week after a blowout loss to Uk that he’s not coming up and will visits rival that’s been on him the last few months and is 4-0.
My guess is if we lose him, we are probably clinging to a Top-10 finish with Ala, uga, A&M, tenn, Lsu, fsu and miami all in front of us. Considering any notion of game day coaching advantage waved bye bye a long time ago, what exactly are we hanging onto at that point?
