I don't... because he loves to own his successes, but not once has owned the schit he left behind anywhere of his last 3 stints.

Thanks for the Natty's, but fuk that guy as a man. He's a fraud in that department.

There’s certainly some truth in your statement. I think many on this board, though, have been so disgusted with the shyyt product the past 12 years that they reminisce and remember the good times he brought more so than the problems he left behind.

Meyer, for all his faults, has an uncanny feel for the moment. He knows when to dip underneath the radar to rehabilitate his image, and he knows when to seize the opportunity to promote himself.

You may call me all wet, but I think that praise for Florida you just listened to was for a purpose. He senses Napier is treading water and he wants people to know he's around. Just in case.
I got the message. I also, after reading some of these post, realize why we are in the position we are in now and likely not to change for a long time. Lost his fast ball, used car salesman and battered wives? And yet "let's hire Kiffin". It tells me we haven't had our teeth kicked in enough. Let's just keep Billy and hope for the best. Saban was unsuccessful in the league, so was SOS. Saban has won multiple NC's at multiple schools. SOS still has the winningest record at USCe and Urban hasn't had a losing season in his entire career as a coach and 3 nattys. NOT ONE LOSING SEASON even at Bowling Green. His winning pct is 85 and has won 80% of his bowl games. Carry on.

You guys ever heard of "Lost His Fastball". If not, follow in detail how he did in his stint at Jax. He either Lost His Fastball or was on heavy drugs. NUT CASE.
Meyer's college coaching record is an incredible 187-32. The NFL is a completely different animal and using that as some kind of barometer that Meyer can't coach anymore is ridiculous. He could take ANY school in FBS and improve them immediately, he's that good. Fortunately, he's very picky and would laugh at the idea of coming out of retirement for a school like Texas A&M. IMO, UF is the only school he would coach again. He has been buzzing around the program and speaking publicly about his great experience here for the last several years. He never says a damn thing about Ohio State.

We're not in position to turn our noses up at a Meyer return. The rest of the SEC would panic. I personally would bust a nut.

That and for all his other issues and weaknesses, the guy could actually coach. Unlike the current guy and several of the other would-be replacements post-Urban.

We're contenders within 2 years of his arrival if he comes back. I couldn't think of anyone else I'd take over urban. It amazes me how 15 years later, a small portion of retards still blame urban for our problems.

The problems aren't due to him, but he also didn't help them. The problems are where they have been in the leadership above the coach.

Imagine your picking the guy to do your total knee replacement and then realize you'll take this errytime. And while we are discussing this BN loses another to Ugay. Johnson is gone.

I don't disagree but symptoms can be treated now with the right remedy. I think the only reason to fire BN would be if UM agrees. It's also the only way we fire BN and save the class. Anybody else in all likelihood the class is gone for the most part.

If you think this administration is going to hire UM, they aren't. They do not know what bad press, they want safe. Napier was safe, he wasn't going to embarrass Stricklin during the hiring process and he is a bland, likable guy. They do not want the kind of press that Meyer would and did create. They didn't want Swamp Kings, there is a reason it was so watered down.

We are getting plenty of bad press and embarrassment. Only the people that don't give a shyt about the program are immune to that. And by care I mean aren't okay with watching us get embarrassed every Saturday. FSU will be chomping all night at the Swamp, let's see how that goes over.

Good gawd, not sure I've ever seen a faster decommittment rate without a HC firing occuring first. This is ridiculous. Just rip the bad aid off already and clean house starting with the AD.

Sasse, you have a job to do. Do it.
