For Stricklin's sake he has to work. The new version of the overhaul, is a way to prolong the chopping block.
Exactly what I was thinking. Stricklin’s FOS, as far as I’m concerned. An experienced grifter.

BN’s not going anywhere. Stricklin was just interviewed by ON3. He said they are playing a long game. Not worried about short term results. He said they are in the midst of a complete overhaul of the football program and that it will take time.
The "overhaul" started two years ago. What's been done in two years ?

Back to back losing seasons. Progress from the 2021 losing season should have started Day 1.

18th, 13, 16th in recruiting. Talent rebuild should have started Day 1

Very limited talent on both the Oline and Dline (both are foundations for the future). Rebuild should have started in Day 1.

Defensive staff should have improved stats from Day one from the prior staff (which was the worse ever at UF) Still in the 80s to 100s.

Offensive staff should have improved stats year over year. Still in the 50s.

Front end assistant ADs? Should have been done on day one. even if they did it on Day one, they are still 8 years behind.

Striklin is a dead man walking, just like BN.

This isn't a long term overhaul. There isn't ONE metric that anyone can point to that suggests ANY strategic moves. None.

This is a cluster fuch.

Unless UF is planning on leaving the SEC, BN and Striklin are toast.

If this is true, this is YUGE, This is Roster Management at its finest. So when at the end of next season and beyond enough college football teams are not .500 or above to qualify for bowl eligibility and thus they must then delve into the sub .500 teams to complete the bowl matchups, they use the grad rate or collective GPA or whatever. This will allow UF to vault to the top of those sub .500 teams thus potentially landing a spot in that coveted In-N-Out Drive Thru Burger Bowl. This is brilliant strategy to bowl eligibility.

Ahhhhhh, yes. The vote of confidence. The point where even the bootlicker media is asking when are we going to fire this fuchsing idiot, and the AD says he has complete confidence.

No truer sign that the end is very, very near.

Strickliin can say what he wants. What are the boosters who are paying the loads of NIL saying? Are they on board with this because Stricklin might be the last person to know if Napier is going anywhere or not because Stricklin will probably be packing bags to catch the same bus out of town with Napier.

Right now… yes. Not sure about next year. I think our record will be roughly the same. About a 6-6 season.

Seriously, is there anyone out there that is still buying the ******** being spewed by this administration?

This administration has decided that the focus should be on the long term where we will see the most meaningful results.

Meanwhile we are watching the day to day decline of the program in an industry that is changing by the minute. Our strategic approach (Dysfunctional and desperate) is to focus on building an NFL front office AND an NFL stadium neither of which brings any more talent into the program nor enhances the coaching staff’s ability to develop players.

We’ve just finished two seasons with the optimal approach for a major program in 2013 so I guess now we think it’s best to convert to the best approach in 2033.

If any of us ever had any doubts about this being a government entity I think those have been put to rest.

"If I can't sign 25 good players to play at the University of Florida every year, I'm going to be looking for a new job." - Karl, circa December 2021
What if we started with signing 25 players at all? For some reason that’s been too much to ask.

So you are saying, right now, the boosters are all in line with what Stricklin is saying in that interview with On3? I highly doubt the boosters forking out millions are on board with the 'long game' angle. Facilities are built and up to date. Supporting staff assembled and on the job for 1-2+ years now. Players have been coached and developed for 2+ years now. Only thing left to do is sell it to recruits, develop players and win games. Is that the long game?

Again, I disagree with you. I dont have a lot of money but if I was to contribute to Florida Victorious at the same percentage as the boosters are based on my paycheck, which would only probably be 3 zeros tops...I'd be complaining like a mofo about that long game stuff. Time to shorten the game because long game at this point is new coaches and AD.
