Yeah, our options for next year are Treeoff Horrible, Luke Del Rio please save me-o, or one of the two true freshmen Ball Park Franks or Kyle Trash. We're winning the NC next year for sure with all those options!
Way to be optimistic :stickpoke:

If he hasn't already played his final down at QB, Treon will be finished after Michigan. He's done.

I would like to see MAC start Jacob Guy against Michigan. He has a few weeks to get him ready, why not give it a try. If Guy fails, throw in the next walk on QB. They are all just as good (or bad) as Treon.

This would be a great way for Mac & Nuss to show they are good QB coaches.

Okay, effed was probably too strong of a word. We're pinning our hopes on a relatively untested transfer and an incoming freshman. We'll win more than we lose, and maybe we'll vie for the SEC East, but I foresee consistency issues with that much uncertainty at QB. I'll bet you do, too.

Replace "transfer and incoming freshman" with red-shirt freshman and a true sophomore with lots of questions" and that's pretty much what everyone said about UF for this year during the entire off season.

The biggest difference between next year and this year, besides Treon not playing QB, is that we'll have better play from the O-line and more play makers at WR. Throw in at least an average QB and this offense will be good enough to field a team that will be legit contenders in Atlanta.

We will also be upgrading from a RB that didn't have the ceiling we hoped for (KT) and a pair of freshman up to next year having a solid JUCO, two sophmores with a year of the program under their belt, and another freshman or two rated as high as last year's duo. Offense overall should be better than this past year.

Sorry, Grier bailing on us in our greatest hour of need kinda has me bummed a little bit.

I'm kinda where you are. I feel like this ****ed us for a couple of years. The difference between 3-4 loss seasons and contending the SEC and national titles.

Does everyone realize that he only had TWO good games?

I'm not saying his potential wasn't off the charts or he wasn't really good but I don't think everything is as dire as everyone thinks.

That's actually not true either. He had two good drives vs. Tinerc and a good half vs. Ole Miss.

I too thought he could have been the guy, just loved how quick his release was and his accuracy, but he also stunk it up vs. Kintucky, Mizzu and wasn't great most of the game vs. ECU or Tinerc.

I believe MOST of that was the OL. However, he was still a potential QB not a proven one.

I'm just basing it on his obvious potential as a RS freshman, and making the assumption that he would continue to develop. Obviously, that wasn't guaranteed to happen.

I'm really stunned how many morons think Del Rio left. I also notice they tend to also be the ones that think Driskel coming back for his 6th year would be a good thing. :rotfl:

While I wouldnt never want Driskel back, I do understand peoples desperation after watching Harris....

Welp. Just watched replay of Franks and Wakula v Bishop Moore. We won't be seeing Franks until 2017.... at the earliest.

You never know. Spring Practice, summer workouts, and fall practice is a LONG time.

High school coaching is hit or miss. You are usually going to get a raw talent especially at QB.
