Quite a chaotic day (and night) for the potential playoff teams. The big surprise for me would be the teams to whom they lost. All three of them fell to inferior opponents. Did anyone pick Pitt, Iowa Or USC or to a lesser degree Georgia?

Would not have expected Harbaugh, Dabo and Peterson to lose to those teams.

Just wait until Bama loses to Auburn, then to us, and miss the playoffs. God only knows who the last 4 standing will be. Perhaps Colorado will win it all.

On a side note, with a family connection to Colorado, it's nice to see them winning again. People forget that 20-30 years ago they were annual contenders, and won the NC in 1990.

Based on the logic used on this board, um's loss to an unranked iowa is grounds for a clean sweep of harbaw and his coaches. Good thing we didn't offer him, because everybody knows he would've chosen us over his alma mater...

No offense, but actually they shared a championship with Georgia Tech back when championships were beauty contests.
We won't even get into that fifth down thing

I'm offended as hell! :sadnanner:

My point was, younger people would have no idea that Colorado used to be a great football school.

I was watching ESPN and one of the idiots put Wisconsin in the top 4 because of their two quality losses. Not in his top 4? One loss Michigan and 1 loss Ohio state, the two teams that beat Wisconsin. The playoffs have brought the stupidity out of a lot of these talking heads
