Seriously, talk about a non-issue. Why would you argue against warning a player about dropping the ball too close to the goal line? Are you just looking for an argument?
Is your face looking for an argument?

Freeze that video at exactly :13 and tell me he wasn't close to dropping it too soon. If anyone can figure out how to get a freeze frame picture I'd love to see it.
Whatever. This is dumb.Watch the link I posted. It doesn't look to me like TC drops the ball near the goal line. So why warn somebody about a problem that didn't occur? You and I have different views on this event.
Saw it at the time and thought the same thing. A bit too close for comfort. Thanks Queenie. Point made.

Dude.It didn't and doesn't bother me. He still has possession of the ball in still shot along with forward momentum. Different people have different opinions. If Coach Mac or another coach feel the need to remind players to place ball in end zone or hand off to ref...have at it. He's not asking you or me and he'd get different advice from us if he did.
Quezi came close to doing the same in the '96 seccg vs alabumble.
FWIW divits I was watching the game with my dad and we both said the same thing as you. On replay you can see that he dropped the football after taking a step or two into the end zone, but the point remains why even risk it? It's a bad habit that would be worth kicking now in my opinion, but what do I know?

I think us worriers are aware that he can be relaxing his grip 2-3 steps before he drops it.
Carry it proudly deep into the endzone. In Queenie's photo, his grip is already too loose just
at the line.
