When have you ever heard or seen a coach publicly trash one of his asst coaches? Only one I can remember was Mullen and the only reason he did that was because he knew Collins was leaving for Florida. Saban said the exact same thing about nuss (publicly) then booted his ass shortly after...that's why he went to Michigan. Btw...I'm just sharing what i was told...and i stand by it because of who it came from. If you don't want to believe that...that's fine...idgaf...but don't be calling me out on it until you know for sure I'm wrong!

That's not to say that Nuss couldn't be leaving on his own, or that this "meeting with a recruit" is just a ploy, but if they are actually meeting a recruit on Sunday, then he isn't getting canned on Sunday too.
I'm sure any reasonable person would agree with this...no?

That is stupid, hiring a new coaches immediately gives them a chance to change this dumpster fire, especially if we didnt hire shyt coaches from the wac or sunbelt that top recruits have never even heard of. Theyd still have two months to recruit.

Im not sure Mari is accurate about Nusschamp getting fired. I expect something more like him getting demoted and Mac being the OC. It really doesnt matter. The first three recruit classes mandate how the next two to three years will go.

As I've said previously in this thread, if there is a slam dunk hire already "on board" then of course, pull the trigger.

He got the ball rolling on finally finall FINALLY upgrading our 1980s era facilities slightly, and ultimately led to Fooley getting shwon the door. It should have been done over a decade ago, but we will always owe Mac for that, not that you really owe anyone who is being paid 24 million for doing his job.
