Bianchi and Dooley definitely read Gatorchatter

After listening to their questions at Mac's presser yesterday and reading this article it sure sounds like it.

I don't mind Bianchi as much as many do, but he definitely is pretty hypocritical. He says many of the same things everyone else is saying but then will do a 180 depending on which way the wind is blowing. He was critical as hell of Mac and Florida recruiting on his radio show up until signing day.

Does anyone remember this discussion? It seems to ring a bell but with all the horse references to MacElwain I can't be sure....

You guys are crazy. You think we were the only ones noticing how bad recruiting was going? We had players going elsewhere stating they wont commit to a school without position coaches. It was on every board. It was all over twitter. Hell there were articles was on Espn and USAToday.

It was all over everything but that Vol board that the Sun runs, who were of course talking about brick by brick.

To be honest... this isn't the online site where people are complaining. I am not in the paid sites, but I did have a friend post about the Florida Gator Subreddit... I found this quote there... so obviously TRex is there also?

I find the site hard to navigate so I didn't spend much time on it.

I am sure that they read this site and others too. Mac was getting shyt from everywhere on recuriting. But to his credit he kept it together and under wraps, good for him. As far as BEEONNNNNKEE, the heck with that little troll. He's a little punk that will tell you what you want to you face and then throw you under the bus, just to poke the bear.

I know Mac says he doesn't read the boards........but he knows what the hell we're thinking. He'd be an idiot if he did not keep up with the pulse of his fan base.

Personally i think it's pretty pathetic some of the questions asked during the press conference about message board chatter and that crap. Message boards serve a lot of purposes and one is venting frustration and doesn't always really tell the full story. If that's the best Dooley and Bianchi can come up with to ask him maybe they need to seek another profession.

1. He still hasn't found a QB
2. The o-line is still average.
3. The offense is as bad as it was under Chump and that is with better skill players.
4. We lost recruits (a TE and LT) because Mac wouldn't let them talk to their position coach. In Herbert's case, we didn't have a coach.
5. Any time we play a top tier team we get our a$$ embarrassed. Ending the season, this has happened 2 years in a row.

I could keep going. I'm not being negative. This is just the way it is. I hope he proves me wrong. But there is no reason to "believe" in Butters.

I think sometimes people don't realize that the shape Muschamp left this program in was really really bad. Mac barley had enough OL to field a team. It has only been two years and he had to rely on a transfer from Furman year one. He lost his best OL to a freak injury. It takes years to build OL depth. There are very few that come in as true freshman and are ready to play in the SEC. He has had two years.

He still hasn't found a QB and that is true. This year will be the best to see if Franks or Trask can be serviceable at QB. I still don't understand why he didn't play one of them earlier in the year instead of AA.

Yes he lost a couple recruits, but he didn't lose guys in positions of need. He pulled in a Top 10 class and did well in the areas we needed (DT and DB).

Yes... we get killed by top tier teams, but we don't have the talent right now to compete. A big part of us getting killed is that we just don't have the talent. This recruiting class gets us closer. We still are missing out on the elite players, but remember that Bama has had the #1 class 7 years in a row! FSU has been Top 5 for a while (not sure where they ended up this year).

Muschamp was a good defensive recruiter, but he was horrible recruiting the offensive side of the ball. He never recruited a top WR and he got one QB who decided to take PEDs. I think your expectations that somebody can turn this around and just magically compete with top schools in 2 years are a bit much.
