It is? I've seen more complicated middle school offenses.

It's only fitting that Gator fans now have to pull for a team led by a guy that loathes them. He's taken multiple shots at the fan base and I don't think he's done doing so. We are are a cursed fan base.

I think you may be right.

The problem isn't the QBs, but the coaches..Durty and the others have been right all along.
The coaches aren't showing the same willingness to call the same plays with different guys in. That was evident when we know Franks can throw, but they don't let him all night, then LDR goes in and he comes out with several passes beyond the LOS right off the bat.

These coaches are complete fckin morons, it's time to start over.

Those frickin' morons obviously have limited confidence in Franks and loads of it in Del Rio. Yes, the playcalling is positively befuddling at times, but the Franks I've seen over the past two games would make me pause about going downfield. The guy looks lost.

how many times do they let him open it up? Not often..defenses know that, so they crowd him. This comes back to the coaches predictability. He's not lost, he's being set up for failure by the dumbest group of coaches I've ever seen.

If this is true (and it certainly appears to be) why haven't they just started Del Rio this season?

He is definitely doing something to make them not trust him at all but LDR's weak arm will turn back into an interception machine soon probably.

I (no pun) frankly don't know why, but then I was just as confused by the decisionmaking over Grier-Harris two years ago.

They drive Franks like a Nissan Sentra and Del Rio like a Porsche 911 GT3. Go figure.

Confidence?

Franks was recruited a project and remains just that. You need more than a cannon to succeed at the position.

competent coaches comes to mind

And let's not forget that these same competent coaches decided this was rationale for saying tataloo to Will Grier.

Just call him FRISKEL. That is DRISKEL without the foot speed. I can't believe we ever recruited him and I can't believe MAC thought he was ready to start against Meat Chicken.

Somebody has been working with Del Rio on fundamentals because his dropbacks are much quicker than they were before. Even the way he hands off is different. He takes a quick step toward the runner. Franks just stands there like duh?

The camera kept panning to Zaire last night. He was fairly deadpan. You have to wonder what's going on in his mind, including I came here for THIS?

It's about time we started stocking the shelves with home grown rather than imported.

He is better than Driskel.

He just isn't ready.

That would require a coaching staff who is capable of recruiting.

I'd rather see Zaire running the wildcat that Brandon Powell, unless it becomes obvious that Zaire can't break the runs.

They recruit, they coach, they address the media, their players play -- all of it -- too often too lethargic for my taste.

Your team is often a reflection of your head coach. We went from bi-polar to bi-coastal, emphasis on the left coast.

My laymans eyes say Franks can make all the throws, he just doesnt know when to make them, while LDR knows but just cant make all of them.
This....not trying to bash Franks but he is a day late on almost every throw which means he lacks confidence and/or understanding of the routes. If there was ANY sign of him ever becoming a legitimate D1 CFB QB, there would be some signs....I see none.
