Alright...this is what i've just finished digging up.

1) Chip has given UF a list of 35 potential asst coach hires so they can begin vetting them

2) He's asking for a big budget for his asst coaching hires/support staff and he won't sign until whatever they've agreed on is in writing so he can hire whoever he wants on his staff. He supposedly has found out that mac was promised one budget for asst's and was given a much lower budget once he was already signed. Kelly wants to make sure that doesn't happen to him.

3) He also wants it in writing that the "all in one" will be done in 19 and there's alot of other upgrades he asking for also which is allegedly the current hold up. He thinks the facilities will limit him on the trail and will keep him from winning big.

If we miss on him it's because UF refused to spend the money it takes to compete for championships AGAIN!!!
Will update once i find out more but until then pray the bunch of retards we have running the ship finally come around and realize that the days of winning championships with less are over!

Well that's a fly in the ointment.
It will take 40 weeks to build the new baseball stadium ( I posted a link earlier). So let's say they finish the baseball stadium by the end of 2018. Then they can tear down and Mckethan and start doing construction on the football only. Can McKethan be torn down and football only be built by fall of 2019. Less than one year. I don't think so.

Can they tear down McKethan sooner? After Baseball season in 2018? SO we start in summer of 2018. UAA will have to work fast to get this done.

Nope! He "allegedy" called our facilities a damn joke and also said "no wonder the last 2 guys failed". I don't blame him one bit on taking this stance! Everyone has known since 09 we we're falling behind with each yr that passed yet they still refused to spend the nessacery money to fix them. I wonder what it's going to take for them to understand that piss poor facilities is why the big time recruits aren't coming to UF anymore? Sh*t's unbelievable!

Top 5 revenue school, there is no reason we should not have top 5 facilities. They need to write the checks and get this done before it’s too late.

I don't see how the AD can guarantee facility with a 2019 date. Things happen in raising money and erecting facilities. I guess the department and supporters can't help but see how important facilities are now.

he might not be able to guarantee it finishes on time, construction rarely does, but they can make a commitment to break ground at a specific time and you can continue raising money as it is in the process.

In any case it prolly will take 6 months to get plans drawn up for football all-in-one, accepted, and to get bids. Best case scenario they don't start until mid 2018. I guess it can be done but man they are going to have to work fast.

Those sites aren't going to report anything until it's a done deal. Just google Chip Kelly and every sports site is talking about how Kelly will fit in at Florida as if it's a foregone conclusion.

Well, they’re saving some money with not having to pay a buyout to get Chip, they saved money when separating from Mac. No reason for the deal to die because of this, they need to get this done.
