That is why I used the term "push" instead of "force". I don't think they can legally force us to do it, but I'm sure they can put pressure on the administration to take it if they thought it was what was best for the SEC.

What's best for the SEC is having UF contend for championships. "Pushing" us to accept a bottom-tier bowl bid this year would be self-defeating for everyone.

The SEC may determine they want the money from the bowl or that they want to be able to say they have "X" teams in a bowl game... I don't know... they may agree that it is best UF not go... I'm just saying it is possible they try to influence that decision.
