Probably not an official.he is committed to us - but why take an official when the coaching staff isn't set?

Slevin is killing me. "If he doesn't throw himself on his knees and beg UF to hire him then I don't want him! Tear the contract up and walk away!"
You obviously didn't read what I wrote
If Shannon is our coach next year, I'm out.I wouldn't promote Shannon. I'd leave him as interim. Maybe you could go high dollar on an OC with the assumption that if it works out he could be promoted.
But if Chip did revoke before our admin finished executing, and I have no reason to believe that, and if we couldn't land Frost, I agree just leave an interim and wait to take a swing at an elite or potentially elite coach next year.
Im not clear on whether Norvell might be on the "we think he will be elite" coaches. None of the rest are.
It would make no sense to hire another Just a Dude w a Pulse coach (all the others listed so far) and have to fire him in 2.5-3 years.
Well, it says he turned Tennessee down. That's something in his favor.more info on the supposed "back out" clause...If this has already been posted, please excuse the duplicate:

Nonsense in wasting three years on some other shyt third tier coach. If Shannon is our coach next year, I'm out.
Don't shoot the messenger. :D
According to Frank Frangie:
After speaking to certain people,
1. Chip has spoken to 2 coordinators about going to UCLA. That is a fact.
2. Mike Belotti said he had to practically drag Chip from the OC job at New Hampshire to Oregon. Comfort is the most important thing to him. If not for Belotti's constant prodding, he'd never have left New Hampshire for the OC job at Oregon.
Those are facts.
Now Frangie's thoughts. He'd be shocked if he took the UF job. The contract is not signed. Chip knows the LA area. He knows the recruiting there. He knows the coaches. It is comfortable.
Which actual legitimate source, Frangie or Dooley? If its down to us and UCLA like actual, legitimate news sources are indicating,
Which actual legitimate source, Frangie or Dooley?
Feldman, Shlabach to name a few and some articles from yesterday and today on mainstream media sites, not some dude from twitter named "sexaholic" or some redditt site. But I already know the response, "hahaha, shlabach, hes always wrong..."Which actual legitimate source, Frangie or Dooley?
None of those guys are anywhere near this program. Just like Forde they parroting exactly what Dooley feeds them, just days after they were all embarrassed with the Butters firing.... and everything else they have gotten wrong since as long as I have read them.Feldman, Shlabach to name a few
Up to 243 pages. I now think we'll definitely hit 300 before the hire takes place.
just like i said, but thanks for the confirmationNone of those guys are anywhere near this program. Just like Forde they parroting exactly what Dooley feeds them, just days after they were all embarrassed with the Butters firing.... and everything else they have gotten wrong since as long as I have read them.
Dooley's article on Monday "UF announces Chip Kelly. I knew it all along."
Whatever.
