Here we go with the ebb again. UCLA's season finale is Friday night against California. If the contract offset theory holds water, we could see an announcement as early as Saturday.

UF has nothing to be ashamed of regardless the outcome. We gave it a good honest shot. Based on my reading, if Kelly goes to UCLA, it's more a familiarity/comfort thing than money. I'm not sure there's enough money in the world to overcome that.

Let's go get Frost if it comes to that.

I'm starting to miss the days of the Frosty images and a real belief that Frost was coming here. Now we are all just waiting for the dry teat of Kelly to leak something to us commoners. I think he could be a good or even great coach for us but don't want to see UF looking like Carrie at the dance and getting dumped on. His second fact is not at all correct. CK went to Oregon on his own dime when he saw an article stating that belotti was looking to switch offensive schemes. He travelled there on his own dime to talk with him. Through that interaction he was offered the OC job

I know I was in the minority here, but I was not encouraged by Stricklin’s demeanor and choice of words and the airport Sunday night. Looking like my suspicion was correct.

If in fact we created some backout clause and delayed execution to keep from hurting feelings, we are more screwed than I ever imagined. In any event, at this stage, if it’s not Kelly, egg on SS’s face is an understatement.

If the UCLA thing turns out true, I have heightened respect for Meyer. Notre Dame was the dream job, Notre Dame was the familiar object, Notre Dame was the comfort zone, Notre Dame has the easiest sked this side of Western Kentucky.

Meyer chose Florida because he was fearless, because he wanted to compete and because he believed in Florida.

Here's to hoping Kelly bombs wherever else he goes.

I’m with you. If we screw this up, there’s no way we get Frost and we end up with someone nobody wants and we’re supposed to get behind him. It’s bull crap.
