I don't hang on every word from Stricklin, but this is one of those "don't believe everything you hear" situations. I'd be shocked if we put feelers out to a sitting coach midseason, then decided to pursue the biggest name and someone we could land immediately. It would make zero sense.

It actually makes perfect sense.

I would hope we put out a *lot* of feelers to a *lot* of sitting coaches, including Frost and Taggert, via their agents. How else do you turn the list of "people we might want" to "people we might want and might come"? First you build a board of candidates you're willing to entertain, then you narrow it down by putting out feelers to those coaches via their agent to determine who is willing to entertain you, then you rank them by desirability, then you start pursuing target #1.

Let's put it this way, about a month ago Taggart publicly stated at a press conference he had no desire to coach at Florida. Whether we asked or he was putting us down before it got there, we don't know.

Taggart stated that in regards to a question he was asked.
