I interviewed her many years ago. What a delightful woman. She was dressed to the nines with pearls and a black cocktail dress but once the radio microphone was turned on she went full tilt into her country bumpkin act. Was funny in the studio to see her without the price tag hat but still doing the same act. Very much the classy Southern lady when she wasn't on stage.

I sold & delivered Christmas trees to her back in the early 80’s. There’s a big medical research facility bearing her name in Nashville. The Sarah Cannon Research Center.

Now gang, what a sportsboard GatChat is. I make a silly mention of a price tag hat and a member, Since65, comes back with a real life story. Well done, sir.

Suggestion for an updated thread title...

“Tennessee coaching search going deep, and I mean deep, and I mean...”

UT's chancellor needed to wear a hat with pricetag hangin' down, come out and say "Howdeee!"

Hope this video hasn't been posted before. It should have it's own thread titled. "University Chancellor Discovers Football is More Important than Academics...Almost Passes out at Presser"

At the 9:21 mark Fulmer says "I'm asking all or our fans, our student athletes, our alumni and coaches to let's go have fun winning championships". Where did he hear that from. He was listening to the Scott Stricklin press conference when Stricklin was listing his criteria for hiring a new head coach.

After watching that video who in the world would want to work for that overstuffed, grumpy, obnoxious, back stabbing, uninspiring a-hole?

Answer: A coach who couldn't find employment anywhere else but would like an eight figure buy out.

Les would certainly stir things up but wouldn't do better then 8-4, how long was he at LSU and never seemed to find an offense?

These arrogant azzhats up here think they're really doing the right thing. They are no closer to righting the ship than they were a week ago. In fact, probably worse than it was a week ago. No one, unless Miles is desperate, will want to work for UToothless. They'll need a huge buyout with an expectation that they'll only be there 2-3 years. That should be their plan.

I don't think there's any question. Naming Fulmer AD was the most embarrassing, desperate move I have ever seen at a major program. What coach is going to want to play for him knowing that not only will he be looking over his shoulder but that he certainly won't be AD for long?
