Jacob Copeland: Received a visit from the noles. He will be in Gainesville this weekend.
CDM & Coach Warren paid a visit to teammates 5* WR Jashawn Sheffield and 4* Athlete Jaylin Simpson.
Zackery Evans: the 4* RB in the class of 2020 received an offer from UF. It will be a tough pull to get Evans out of the Lone Star State.
UGA: Have not referenced them much lately but they did host Sooner commit JM9.
Gator Lacrosse: preseason rank #5. I know that one of these years they will kick the door down…could it be this year?
Gator Softball: Comes in as preseason #2. Sidenote, The SEC has 9 teams in the top 25 or slightly over 1/3. WOW.
Bama: Offers 4* WR Juice Jameson
UF Baseball: Brady Singer announced as the Friday Night starter. I’m not an expert but I know great when I see it. Singer has it written all over him.
Iverson Clement: With the return of Scarlett, IC is most likely to start off at WR from what I hear. I don’t think people know how special this guy is yet. In the words of SOS, this guy is a football player.
2019 Offers: Here are some I’m aware of beside the ones listed above. I think this is significant in that the staff is now looking forward. I expect they will revisit some of the 2019 de-commits also. Anyway here are some:
•Safety Cortez Andrews, from Tallahassee.
•Strong side defensive end Justin Eboigbe, from Forest Park, Ga.
•Weak side defensive end D’Sean Perry, from Miami.
•Class of 2020 athlete Jalen Berger, from Ramsey, N.J., also tweeted about receiving an offer from the Gators.
•Class of 2021 athlete Kamar Wilcoxson, from Stone Mountain, Ga., also received an offer, tweeting that Florida was his “childhood DREAM school.”
Noah Jefferson: committed to Ole Miss.
Tommy Bush: The highly ranked WR is projected to Baylor. I got to tell youI don’t know what Baylor is selling but they are getting WR’s.
Van Jefferson: with the news that Jefferson will not be accepted to UF, Copeland becomes a priority IMO. That said, UF has enough talent to overcome this and TBH, may open another ship for a more productive player in the long run.
OK: Let’s get serious. UF is at 13 and here is who you can add to the 13 IMO.

Gators climb recruiting rankings
Florida moves up in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

With the addition of three-star offensive lineman Griffin McDowell, the Florida Gators move up one spot in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings to No. 16. The Gators jumped Florida State, and now sit on 235.07 total points.
Florida has now has 16 members in its 2018 recruiting class. Thirteen of those players signed with the Gators back in December during the Early Signing Period. Florida currently has room for six more prospects in the 2018 class.

How do you guys feel about the smaller Offensive linemen CDM is recruiting? Seem to remember that several posters expressed pleasure with cjm recruiting larger guys. Now they seem to be trending toward 280. I assume his offense needs more mobility. Everyone down with that?

No. I don't like sideways offenses.
But we hired a sideways offense coach.
I want vertical passing and power running. We just don't play Florida football anymore though.
