We were actually 6th in GPA, 3rd in the SEC, and slightly ahead of the Urkels.

Just now finally able to get back on. Sorry for cursing you earlier. I overreacted a little. We got some decent peices in this class but , came up short at DT and was beaten out by freakin Virginia for a recruit. I'm gonna give it a B- . I think we should hold the same standard as uga and fsu for transition classes but obviously some of you don't . But it was nice to beat saban out of a couple.

Really enjoyed this day. Lots of late morning/early afternoon meltdowns. Found out many really don’t like DM. I never wanted him yet I’ve come to believe he will lead us back. I like our haul today. It’s a good start.
Also thought the reaction to Cope’s Mom was a bit over the top considering how much the board has criticized Cope’s social media comments over the past few months. Seems some judged him harshly yet had no reservations unloading on the mom. I’m glad we got this kid. So far....I have a very favorable impression of him. I hope Mom grows to love UF.
Also if you consider the 2 transfer WR’s, Scarlett and Wells as part of the class as I do I really think we are loaded at the skill positions offensively. Next year the big uglies will be knocking down the door to get here.

I really dont give a shyt about a DB. You shouldnt either. DT is a bigger deal but we landed such a sweet class last year that it no doubt affected us.
Im not sold on Cousin Eddie. You know I hated the hire, but he has done well so far.
Our class has a higher gpa than Clown Towns and we didnt taken 6DBs, 4 WRs and 2-3 more that wont qualify like they did....and we dont get credit four two 4 star transfers.
Ugly did have a beast of a 1st and 3rd class. One step at a time for us.

That's a tough one. I love the Cousin Eddie angle. I had a Cousin Eddie Avatar. Keep the jokes coming, but for God's sake show some Respect. And give the new coach a chance. If we start off ruthlessly making fun of our own guy, what's the point. Opposing Fans don't even have to think up their own jokes and insults. We provide them for them. Even before CDM's first ****ing game. The dude has earned some Gator Nation Love by his performance since hiring.

FWIW, I think most of the people sporting Cousin Eddie avatars would strongly agree that Mullen has had a great start to his tenure here, and are really hoping he does a great job. I don't know why you think Cousin Eddie avatars are disrespectful. Someone called out an older poster for taking exception to the attacks on the mother. I’m an older guy and I didn’t like it as well. Just like I don’t like personal attacks on our coaches or players. But our generation may have been raised differently. I’m slowly coming to understand that the younger guys prefer the trash talk and maybe don’t mean it in the same way we interpret it. Pops taught me to call a man by his name. I think a lot of the young dudes were taught the value of the “dis”. It’s like another arrow in their quiver.
Just don’t let a young teenage athlete talk trash online....THEY will be labeled as thugs, immature, hood rats, someone to stay away from, etc. Not sure how they are any different than online commandos?

UGA destroyed everyone including Bama.
But it doesn't change the fact that this is one helluva transition class and a very good first effort by DM. I was worried and pissing and moaning earlier, but have never been so glad to be wrong after seeing this finish.
And I think it is very fair to say this is a much better class that it's final ranking will show. As I mentioned previously (but apparently forgot
) three of the 3 stars from the early signing period that are "dragging down" our average are the number 2 kicker (so that's 5 star value with the loss of Eddie) and two 3 star OL that look like they could easily be future NFL guys to me. Then throw in 2 stud WR transfers and you can see this might not be just a great transition class, but a great class overall.I know one thing, I sure hope EJ can pass because he's going to have a bunch of stars to throw to.
