I love how Mullen is getting fired before he has ever coached a game.

If the apparent schitting of the bed continues in recruiting, outside of a huge year on the field, Mullen is going to get canned for having crap recruiting classes.

Nobody has said “fire him”, what we have said is that he isn’t getting it done right now from a recruiting perspective. He let our best recruiter go and hasn’t show the ability to win on the trail.

If he doesn’t turn it around then we will not be much better than we have been the last 10 years. We will continue losing to UGA and FSU.

I agree with the excuses part but they are coming from the UAA brother not Strick. The UAA is going to milk as much $ as possible from the boosters on this and every other project in the future. Their bull$hit is why I have quit sending my 40k a yr. I won't send another dollar until we're competing for championships again on a consistent basis. If everyone else would do the same and let them know why you aren't donating anymore (via email) I guarantee the bull$hit within the UAA would stop.

Yeah, some of the interpersonal stuff in the interviews I've seen is .... "off putting" is the word I think.

Dan's a good X's and O's guy and good on the field and in practice, that's his element.

And while he doesn't descend into the Butters level Asperger's type weirdness, he should go out and hire some ace recruiters with drive and personality who will engage the kids well, and Dan should fade as far into the background as possible. If he does not play to his strengths and turn the recruiting staff around then he won't come anywhere near achieving the "Gator Standard" here.

Unless he bangs a co-ed on Kent Fuch's desk on facebook-live he's getting four years. His buyout would bankrupt the UAA (not literally, but they aren't paying him $30 million to walk away).

Other than being behind ALL of our rivals in July of his first 7 months on the job (and booting Seider) he's doing a fantastic job representing UF and even though recruiting is lagging, he's certainly making a 100% effort.
