Him being around driving traffic in the offseason is one thing, do you really want to debate him the entire season? He's the biggest homer I've ever seen, and can't be rational in any way.

I am the biggest homer you have seen? I acknowledge the positive and negative on UF. I support our coaches and feel they should be given a fair chance to build their program but after they get a fair chance they must produce.

That is not being a homer, that is just common sense because a rapid fire revolving door will discourage top coaches from coming to UF.

Your poll was a pleasant surprise. The vocal negative posters generally post the most here. Appears you have posters here who want the positive and the negative on UF.


The UAA is making a good long term decision on moving the baseball stadium so we can double the size of our football footprint. The negative of this is it means this year's recruits won't be able to use the new football center till their junior year.

UF is on the right path long term contrary to the vocal minority here. Mullen is working his butt off so far and we should give him a chance to succeed before turning on him like your vocal negative minority posters like Donkey and Bruce Wayne already have. Giving a new coach a fair chance is not homer it is just the smart thing to do.

In fact, most were resigned to him being here for many more years to come even though we were dead certain that he was a mush brained bumpkin who was just going to be prolonging our misery by plunging our program into an ever deepening crevasse of suck.

But bless the heavens, "Ol Thunder Teeth" delivered us from evil with his own stupidity and now here we are hoping against hope that Mullen can pull us out of the abyss. But even before the first snap his recruiting is starting to make people think that the ropes are already starting to fray. And after the complete and utter crap they've witnessed for the last 9 years or so can you blame them?

Oh, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I always do. No one wants Dan Mullen to be the best coach Florida's ever had more than I do. I like the guy. But I've witnessed enough God awful football in the last 8 years to quickly recognize it when I see it. I don't care what the record is, if it's anything close to what we've had recently his tenure should be short.

I personally avoid cats as I am allergic to cats. I guess with so many negative posters here my balanced approach makes me a blind homer in relative terms.
