I hate to say it but firing Stricklin and promoting the Barn guy seems like a GREAT option.

Hopefully he will at least fired all the leftover Fooley garbage in the AD's office.

I blame the obscene TV money. Once upon a time -- like 1986 thereabout here -- we hired ADs based on their athletics knowledge. Bill Arnsparger, bless his little Miami Dolphins heart, was a football guy.

They're just pencil pushing CFOs now.

Can always count on gator chatter to fire the head coach after 2 games. Swonkey is going to make Mrs Mullen have to drive two hours to grocery shop again

I heard she had a grocery shopping trip to Atlanta this week.

No problem with that if they will manage the books and hire coaches without strings attached.

We'll be doing the first 100% non-guaranteed, zero-buyout contract next hire. Trendsetters be us.

I’m not on any train. But you know damn well because you said it yourself this team is void of talent. Nobody wants to face reality even when we lose. This team sucks most importantly because the trash Mac left us and most importantly that jackass Shannon left us on d.

You are correct about the overall talent but most seemed to think we had good talent at RB, WR and D-line. And many thought the Oline would be better b/c most like Hevesy (not I). but even tho we have suboptimal talent, let me explain where that does NOT matter. Call a drop back pass on 2nd down and 1 from the 3 yd. line. Running a QB sweep on 3rd and 1. Sending 12 guys onto the field out of a timeout. There were other play calls on both sides of the ball that I would quibble with and those have nothing to do with talent. they have to do with seeing the game and understanding situations!

I’m going to really start judging him next year. I want these losers off my team. These are the same losers who gave up to Mizzou and USC and FSU. They have zero heart. Probsbly the worst bunch of players in the history of the entire program.
Why wait until next year. We just lost to Kentucky, this year is toast. Lets start playing the kids to give them some game experience. I see zero reason to keep running a bunch of Jr's and Sr's out there that have already proven they can't play.

Couldn't agree more. The 2nd an 1 at the 3 play call was mind boggling. As was Frank's having more carries than any of the RB's.

Agreed. Sloppy game from all involved. Again it’s the second game with an absolute shyt roster. I hope it gets better instead of constantly wanting it to be worse like Swonkey

Fire the coach after two games?

We wonder why we are the worst fan base in college football.
Only you think we are the worst fanbase. You have always relished it.

All you 0-10-1 types have been praying for this so you can prove you are the real fans. Well, here ya go. Enjoy the empty stadium. You will have plenty of leg room now.

The truth is most of is didnt want this loser the day he was hired, bc we have seen his resume.

I like this thought b/c it immediately makes me think of Wisconsin. I have mentioned a million times how Barry Alvarez turned them into a winner b/c when he was hired, the Little 10 was littered with awful coaches.Well when he "retired" to the AD spot, he hired his guy in Bert and they continued to win, even tho many think Alvarez was still the coach. So Bert leaves and they bring back Chryst who was OC at WISC for many years and lo and behold, they continue to win. Yet I do not see their roster littered with 5 star recruits. But I consistently heard that watching them is boring, etc, etc. Well what is not boring is winning 10+ games every year. What is not boring is developing players on the LOS's every year. What is not boring is no t having to watch RB's get hit in the backfield and QB's run for their life at the snap of the ball. What is not boring is not watching 20+ missed tackles a game.

No one but morons wonder this. This is a passionate fan base, not a bad one. I don’t agree with the dumpers screaming fire him but I cannot d bags that try to paint this fan base differently from other, historically successful ones. At least we don’t blindly support coaches who hide pedofiles or woman beaters.

Last night's loss has brought Law roaring out of his week-long shell and has him repeating the same old I-told-ya-so mantra ad nauseum. We need another win to send him back into hibernation.

I'm obviously just kidding but did you notice how unusually reserved he was after the opening night win and leading up to Kentucky?

Until we get a guy he likes -- and frankly I'll probably agree with the pick, whoever it is whenever -- the wins are going to be his kryptonite.

Up until 2&1/2 years ago I used to lose my frickin mind whenever we lost and the reason didn't matter….it was always the refs, the other team cheating, Urban's illicit affair with Ox or whatthef vckever made him leave. I had to blame it on something.....Then I realized we were a couple coach's down the line and a half dozen classes of players had come and gone along with dozens of asst. coach's and the product was the same.

I don't think Donkey hates the "Coach" or the QB, or the DC whoever they may be. What he hates and makes him full of piss and vinegar is what the "Higher ups" have decided what is acceptable for us the fans. I've stopped caring much at all even though I choose to still watch in hopes of some sign things are getting better.....
