I know exactly what you said. Thing is, there's but so many top kids.
Look man, I'm in line with your thinking. But you have to be realistic. We live in a world where there's literally cameras everywhere. People are just different now. And the the most prevalent trait of a good recruiter is to be adaptable and relatable. There's a lot more "sucking up" and "ego stroking" than you think. It's why some coaches suck at recruiting. A lot of them think that it's beneath them to kowtow to 18 year old kids. But, to succeed, you better get over that quick or hire other guys that will do it for you.

He was the one that decommitted from us earlier this year because he wanted to enjoy the recruiting process. He was committed to us for almost 2 years. He did say at some point or another that we were not talking to him.Something happened on both sides to make this unofficial visit possible. Maybe he wants to come watch a game for free. He visited SC quite a few times and if I am not mistaken he was supposed to OV them this weekend. He probably ends with them but it does not hurt to make an effort. He is a high 4* (.9446).

Wish we could show them recent championship trophies instead.
Top kids run to Clowntown, Bammer, Clemson and Crackumbus. They arent worried about educations. They are worried about the best path to championships and that NFL paycheck.
