He’s an elite college coach. He will never coach in the NFL. If he can’t handle college pressure there is no way he can handle pro pressure.
I consider there to be significantly less pressure on NFL coaches than major college coaches. Significantly.

What makes any of you think he will coach at the pro level? Meyer said it many times early in his career he has no interest in the NFL. You can see he takes tradition at every school he's been at seriously, and takes pride in it as well. He may prove me wrong and jump ship to the NFL, another change of scenery at the college level may do him some good, then again, the same problems will follow him as well.

If he feels the college system may literally kill him, he may change his mind. The job of NFL head coach is easier.

He’s an elite college coach for a few years with each new program. The liar cannot build a lasting program with perennial championship potential (ala Saban and Dabo) because he spins way fast and eventually loses control. This is one of the reasons I like Mullen. He looks like he can build and sustain a long-term program. We will see about the championship part.
Can't argue with any of this.

Ask Saban. College is easier for guys like him and Meyer. Hell, it was for Spurrier too. At this point to me it is clear there are guys who can coach college and there are guys who can coach football. Success in one does not guarantee success in the other. In fact, the skill set that defines the best college coaches is recruiting. The doesn't exist in the NFL.

First diagnosed in 1998, surgery over 4 years ago and yet this is the year he decides to be "transparent" about his health? I certainly feel for he and his family if he's suffering from an illness, but his timing of releasing this information is completely manipulative and calculated. Do you think he comes out with this information if OSU is undefeated? Absolutely not. Urban is deflecting his lack of success this season on his health and forcing OSU's hand to retain him as head coach next season.

Urbs is a shady as fvvck

Meyer also said UF was the top of the mountain. So...

But the job of being retired or an announcer is even easier. He should have plenty of money.

Don’t often hear that NFL is easier than NCAA. Main difference is the constant recruiting, but I’d think everything else is tougher in the pros. Meyer doesn’t seem a good fit for NFL. He runs a college offense reliant on having better players - or at least better playmakers - than the opponent. His recruiting bullsh#t wld be irrelevant and his overall BS would Fallon deaf ears.

This guy is a Sociopath and the only medical help he'll need will be having Harbaugh's right foot removed from his ass in a couple of weeks.....

I was reluctant to say it, but this is exactly what I was thinking.

Back in the heart attack days, a little birdie from Shands told me Urban came in with a panic attack. Later, they changed it to esophageal spasms but I knew that really it was anxiety. I’m sympathetic to anxiety problems. They are usually suffered by good people. But when it’s a high achieving type who is being publicly criticized (then it was all of the arrests) and who has just failed very publicly, it could just be narcissistic personality disorder. Can’t diagnose the dude but it lines up, and here we go again, don’t we?
