Who cares? My office is right around the corner from an Offerdahl's, I've seen John mopping more than once. Still, someone should post a vid of the Zooker playing janitor on youtube.Rog, you could drive by that particular bank in the evenings and see him in there cleaning floors, etc.
Ox, I was at UF when Graves was there. 8-4 was a good year.I think you and I have disagreed on about 200 things in a row now. We have completely opposite sports opinions.
Didn't used to be that way, I don't know what happened to you.
That wasn't the argument, at least not at my end. My argument is that had Zook been hired before Spurrier, he would have been a 4-8 coach, not a 8-4 coach.Ox, I was at UF when Graves was there. 8-4 was a good year.
First off, John Offerdahl has been bankrupt for years - you occasionally see him panhandling. Secondly, it's his own failing business, so mopping his own floors makes a little more sense since he can't afford to pay an employee to do it.Who cares? My dad liked Brooks Robinson so much that he named me after him. Probably the best third baseman ever and he was a good guy.
Not more than this guy thoughHe really knew how to connect with the kids.
As soon as you start posting lessDeuce, we love you, man!
Post more!
Only on Gatorchatter could a thread about Ron Zook turn into a discussion of Hall of Fame 3rd baseman Brooks Robinson.Brooks was the best ever, especially on defense. There was nothing wrong with DeCinces, except that he wasn't brooks. Although the last couple years Brooks was sad to watch, especially at the plate. Those were good time for the Os. Not so much since then.
When Graves was there, we only played a 10 game season, 11 if we went to a bowl. We didn't have 11 game seasons until 1970.Ox, I was at UF when Graves was there. 8-4 was a good year.

Lol what. He took his dream job and he wasn’t good at it. He built a hell of a talent base for Meyer to work with and beat Bobby the night they named the field after him. That right there is absolutely priceless and deserves its own trophy
How can anyone give Ron Zook even a shred of credit for that win? Even a blind hog, etc etc.He also handed eventual national champ LSU their only loss of the season and he did it at their "vaunted" Death Valley starting a freshman QB.
