No because for most of the season their offense sucked ass. They sort of straighten things out abit midway and took the pressure of the defense.Foster isn’t what he was under Beamer is all I’m saying...he’s had some real stinkers this season
I was planning to go and needed 4. Assuming we make it in. These are by far the best prices out there. Can you elaborate on these. I'm assuming they're legit. Thanks for posting!Anyone buying ob tickets? These are cheapest you'll find.
2019-20 Capital One Orange Bowl- Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital
My only interest is that my son went to VT and UVA is like FSU to them. I would hope we'd pound them.
Have you ever lived among either of them? Tech people are all pretty cool. They love their school, but don’t think everyone else should. And I have never met one who couldn’t laugh at themselves. It’s a very chill group.
Most UVa types are insufferable arrogant pricks. They believe the world revolves around Charlottesville. I’ll give you a few examples of their jerkdom:
It’s not “a campus;” it’s “the grounds.”
And Blacksburg in some ways reminds me of Gainesville.
I posted a tweet earlier in the thread, but if UVA fell out of the rankings, the Orange Bowl would choose from UVA/VT/Wake. In that scenario, I'd say VT would get the nod for the traveling fanbase.
Having said that, I think the committee will keep UVA at like #25 to avoid that situation and reward them for making the ACCCG.
Yes; grad school folks are different than the ones who went there for undergrad. And I agree it's not all of them - just a significant majority!I've mentioned elsewhere, but I met my wife at UF (specifically, playing wingman at The Porpoise), and she did grad school at UVA. One of her grad friends is also from Florida, did undergrad at UF and grad at UVA. So for those two, and our respective families, there'd be some rooting interests at play (I enjoy giving the both a hard time, would be relentless in this matchup, and generally root for them in other games). I fully expect we'd pound them.
I suppose I got lucky then (hell, she loves football and the Gators, I know I got lucky). But the wife and her grad friends, all pretty cool people in general. None of them did undergrad there, if that makes a difference. After grad school, we lived in Ohio ('nother story) and became very good friends with a couple who went to VT. We still see eachother every year or so. Very grounded and good people through and through. I'll cheer for VT in other games as well, and I still like Beamer (despite him being long gone from coaching).
Wife and I went through just to check it out late this summer. I very much agree with this assessment. Chill place to be.
Yeah, I really doubt we get a UF-UVA matchup. It's simply a killing with no point to it. A matchup with VT or WF doesn't have much more weight, but I agree it's wholly up to the OB on who they want to bring in when UVA falls out of the rankings (and they will, I don't doubt it).
We arent going to Sugar over Ugly or Bammer.Orange or Sugar?
I prefer the O B. More fun, fewer worries. If we are still recruiting 2020 or if not our 2021 recruits will be more aware of itWe arent going to Sugar over Ugly or Bammer.
But great food either way.Nawlens or Little Havana. Gotta bring your sidearm either way.
