Those stats are like our defensive stats, look good on paper, but not so much in real life. However, i will say i like this O more than any under Urbs, at least the passing. How much of it is Trask and how much is DM remains to be seen.
I dislike GD as much as anyone outside of Tuscaloosa, but to say he doesn't know X's and O's just shows your lack of knowledge. The only thing I've been able to figure out that you know, is how to bash players and coaches that sacrifice a lot for the team you supposedly root for. Why not just...
I don't think the label fragile applies. As someone above stated, it's more luck than anything. A few inches in either direction and it could have been a blown out knee or a high ankle sprain or worse. You are right though, he does appear to be snakebit, I just hope that changes.
I don't think there are a lot of people that could have a 300lb lineman hit the side of their knee at full speed, THEN walk it off and get back in the game after missing a series, THEN be called on to run stupid QB dive plays later in the game. Doesn't sound very fragile to me, or maybe it is...
@Swamped Gator I totally agree with what you are saying. Big negatives, but should be easy enough to fix with game experience. One thing I can't figure out is why Trask doesn't run sometimes other than if it is a stupid QB run call. I know he isn't a great runner, but the coaches must tell...
I don't buy that. If you look at most of Franks' passes, there was at least 1 person that was running wide open somewhere on the field. Of course a defense can leave a guy free if they are watching the eyes of a QB that never takes his eyes off his primary target. I'm kinda starting to think...
I was listening to Pat on the radio on my drive home from work the other day. One of the whack job fans that call in was ranting about being a true fan and I swear Pat said he was not a fan of the Gators. I can understand not wanting to be a homer, but to say you aren't a fan. I thought that...
That is my biggest problem, not exciting at all. I remember actually wanting to get up Sunday morning to watch the replay. Outside of a game here or there haven't felt that way in years. Damn I miss the fun and gun...
