Having an NFL team in London is galactically stupid. It’s a neat novelty now and then, but no way it can be sustainable. I would think players would hate it. It’s over 11 hours non-stop to LA. Eight hours to New York. Who will their fans be? Will every game in the states need to be played at noon, so brits can watch it? 8 PM Eastern is 1 AM in London.

Knock yourself out, NFL....the sooner you go away the better.

For you Jags fans who never attend games, why would you even care? You can watch the games on the TV as always and cheer your brains out.
When they do attend, they like the swimmin’ hole in the end zone.

Simple question is, would they attract more fans in London than in Jax? Turnout in London would be on par with Jax fans turning out for a soccer game.

I think the Jax fans showed this year that they’ll turn out for a winner. Fair weather isn’t so bad when you’re winning.

Go just go: London, Madrid, Rome, Paris, Manchester, Liverpool. Brussels.... wherever... just go, NFL. Won't affect my tv viewing one iota.

Yeah, he's spending 2.5 billion at Northbank just so he can move the team to London. He didn't become a billionaire by being stupid.

:bwahaha:

Answer my question. Why would you care?

They wouldn't. The ones who are there and create sell outs almost every game would care. It ain't happening. Me thinks Shad wants to be a foutball magnate too. Tarps have come off so that Jax can accommodate more fans.

Oh by the way he just announced a project which could represent as much as $2.5 billion in investment in downtown Jacksonville, a development on the river next to the stadium. He thinks big and globally. I'm sure he'd love to take over London if he could.

By the way Ox. could you get rid of the pic of Mac and his yellow teeth. Every time I come to this site I see the yellow glow and want to throw up.

What if the long term plan (20+ yrs) is to transform the game into a softer more sustainable version that most of the world loves. Lets call it SOCCER. Fisrt step is to start planting teams in heavy soccer cities. London, Mexico City then Hamburg. Crazy thought of the day.
