I enjoy the board. I don't post much but paid some dough because I did not feel it was right to read the content without helping subsidize the costs to produce the product. The board does seem to be dominated by a few personalities but my guess is that would be true with any message board. Keep doing what you are doing, Ox. I haven't checked out anywhere other than the main sports forum but its fun to watch the regular posters since they either amuse me with their comments or dazzle me with really good insight. Ox, if you are happy with what you have created and are maintaining, why consider changing? You have your core audience and seem to be making some money--12 pages in, I'm not sure you have any valid info to consider a change to what you are doing. Keep up the good work--I have never looked at any of the other websites you all discuss so I only have this one and the old Gatorsports message board for comparison.

Honest question...context? I;m not saying I am perfect but there have been a million times when I said Mac sucks for XYZ reason and I would get responses like "I bet you are life of parties" or "you are the most negative person ever" or "you hate everything". I really try to stay above it most of the time but I will defend myself if someone is just straight personal because I hate the job our coach is doing. In fact, I am sure someone will back me up...I used to say the MO of some of the pumpers was this...I bang on the coach and because a poster did not like the truth they would attack me personally. If I responded to that it deserved it at that point...do you disagree? Or do you think I should just be a punching bag? What respect would anyone have for me if I just sat here and took it? And let me tell you I've taken a lot of **** for hating on Chump and Mac.

Context: Fair enough, but that isn't as fun. It's black and white only in here.
Though, if you ask, in these situations you were usually in a posting battle of some sort, probably regarding our former coach or current one. But context isn't fun, you didn't help de-escalate (to most of our enjoyment) and like it or not, you did write these things. Sometimes these quotes were in the same thread where you were criticizing others for getting "personal". Those are my favorite.
It almost like when challenged, your posts become a message board version of a Sam Kinison skit. He starts off calm and slow too.
