According to a university police interview with UF tight end C’yontai Lewis, Zachery had a “good relationship” with Lewis “while the football team was winning, but when they began losing, “Tay Bang” would call them “garbage” and would complain about losing money after he bet on football games,” the report states. 
Are we sure “Tay Bang” is not a regular poster on this board? I guess the suspect list based on this description would be too long to figure out.

We can't suspend guys for almost fighting and pointing toy guns at someone. It's definitely dumb. It's a huge red flag that these guys just don't have what it takes to be a championship level team. It's not just one guy getting into some dumb argument. It's several players. This type of stuff doesn't happen to smart football players. I will say that Toney has a point. People probably try to pick fights with them because they're Florida football players. That sucks. But they have to be able to deal with it better than they did.
I could see Lewis getting suspended or thrown off the team if he's involved in some gambling.

To me the biggest issue here is these dumb asses hanging out with a "local gambler." I am not sure if this guy is a bookie or just a guy that throws away his money betting, but he is not the type of person any player should be hanging with.
Shane Matthews almost threw away his career before it started betting with a bookie in Athens, GA of all places so being dumb is not new for football players, but seriously. This is another reason to win, winning also makes players have a reason to act smart.

Jeebus. Mullen must be too busy counting the guaranteed $ Scott gave him to focus on the team. I've never seen a UF coach's tenure start this bad.

It shouldn't take more than a 2-hour lecture with illustrated manual to emphasize what is "pitfall" behavior along with people types to avoid hanging around. Impress on guys that coaches & UF expect this sloppy social stuff to be avoided - an ounce of prevention.

I think it's more of an off campus thing. I'm sure they see plenty of people that are nice to them just because they're football players too. There's also a bunch of people that just wanna mess with them and start ****, just because.
