There was way more than 3 or 4 people that hated this hire on this board. You guys might've been the most vocal about it.

So I guess we'll be looking for a new coach again in 2 years. It seems inevitable. There's no way Mullen is pulling us out of this mess. Foley really ****ed us. Muschamp + mcelwain made UF into vandy.
I guess so. I just remember being told to get aboard by many. When you don’t fall off it doesn’t hurt. But hey on a positive note he’s happy to be here.

I think vandy has smarter players.

I only remember Slevin being pro Mullinz. Almost no one else.

And Rog, but he doesn't really count.

Boss and 81 are just brainless pumpers who support anyone and everyone.
I don’t remember anybody really supporting him until last week. Hell I was starting to think maybe he could get us 9-10 wins.

What else can he say? I didn't want the hire but I am not going to blame him for Mac's players that started this descent last season. I at least want to see him with one of his QBs able to run his system. His recruiting does have me a little nervous right now however.

Ah the compound the mistake with the not his players excuse. What was that first rule of holes?

I was trying to give Mullen a chance, despite Strychnine getting completely embarrassed by Kelly and Frost and settling for his buddy from Starkville. Not now, 3 star heavy or not, zero reason to lose to Kentucky, period. If UK had held onto the picks they had right in their hands, they would have won by 30+.

Stricklin did what he could given his limited experience, but he's not the answer. He has zero clout. We need a bonafide football mind, a respected one, at the helm.

I only remember 3-4 people saying this was a poor hire. Donkey, myself and I don’t recall the others. Most were ok with the hire.

FALSE. Get ox to show you the results of the poll on here. It was 60/40 AGAINST the hire. Most Gators were not happy with this hire.

You could hear the groan from South Beach to Pensacola the afternoon the story broke. Personally, I resolved there was nothing I could do, so I better learn to live with it. But I did not like the hire.

BS, Stricklin had a huge bank account. What UF needed was the best coach UF could get. Sadly you don't know in advance who that is.

1. Kelly is off to an awful start.
2. Frost lost his opener.
3. Campbell is 0-1.
4. Norvell is 1-1 and lost to Navy.
5. Brohm is 0-2.
6. Fuente is 2-0 and has a big road win so maybe he is the miss this time.

Now maybe UF could or could not have gotten Fuente. We just do not know. Other than Spurrier who I would have preferred but who equally would not be a sure thing in a second time around (see John Robinson and SoCal), I am not sure who UF fans would have wanted?

OK <>really support. Two very different concepts. Something that escapes yes/no types.

You're hilariously desperate for a big splash with your replies. How about knowing what it is you're replying to? Mine had nothing to do with the coaching field and everything about the KIND of AD we need.

Yea 40% were for it. Hell 50% of the 60% would be against all.

We shouldn't have won the past few times with KY. We got lucky.

Last night, luck ran out. They were better on O, on D, in coaching, players, and execution. They earned the win. We earned the loss.

Personally, I"m glad to not hear about 'the streak' anymore

I’ve said before. I don’t know how interested Tigert Hall is into football.
