And perhaps more to come. Imagine if we win NCs in softball and baseball in the same year, that would be epic and something that might never be achieved again. And we have a shot at doing just that.

I'm not surprised that Gatorcountry homers vote that way. They were just as optimistic over Muskchump til the day he was fired. Check the archives.

That was SEC Country, the AJC's site.

It isn't a scientific poll but I don't think it's way off. Most people see the progress and winning despite losing his starting QB for at least 1/2 of each year. I can't think of a single Gator I actually know - and I know a ton - who holds your doom & gloom view. Well, maybe one but he's more of a friend of a friend.

Appleby was better than LDR and I think a lot of Gators would agree. I see the new narrative emerging is that Mac & Nuss have lost their QBs and they are miracle workers for getting to ATL. Muschamp only left Mac some silly putty and a some chicken wire.

I call it the Muschump paradox...Chump gets blamed for the offense but little credit for leaving Mac an elite defense. Mac would not have won d!ck without that defense and those players. And now most of them are gone. Uh-oh.

Sure, I've been to Alabama. First visit was to see a good friend who ran track at Troy State. He showed me the laundromat he had been banned from because he was black. That was 1978.

Of course it has "nice areas" but it's still bleh. This isn't just a personal preference. Plenty of data backing me up.

This almost as honorable as that elusive" life champions" trophy.

That is insanity. Do you actually talk to any real live Gators? Sorry, I just dont believe that you.

I will say that I have a cousin who is a Clown and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES Ole Butterteeth.

If only Oregon would have taken this dingleberry off our hands.

See, heres the thing, when you have a good coach, everyone knows it and you dont have to run around talking about the fanbase being ceazy for rejecting his annual four blowout losses, terrible recruiting, and bottom of the SEC offenses. Or make up fake polls.

Its desperation. An athletic department trying desperately to sell a spin that pretty much no one is buying.

Appleby > Del Rio and the stats back that up. Yet the coaches chose to play a clearly banged up Del Rio the whole entire Arkansas game despite his clear struggles. The fact that they wouldn't put a healthy Appleby out there in the 2nd half, just to see if he could've provided a spark, blows my mind. I mean did they really think the way that game was going and the way Del Rio was performing, that he was capable of leading a big comeback. I'm sure we would have lost either way, but not to at least try something different at some point in that game was ridiculous. Long story short, these offensive coaches

First there are places with poverty and crime in almost every state. And of course the idea was that Alabama is a homogeneous place full of racists. I know that Florida had and has its share of racists, fewer now than in the past.

After all it is quite dangerous to live in parts of Chicago, children shot on the way to school, and massive poverty as well.

Like I always say, put two adages together and you get an oxymoronic statement:
"Poverty causes crime & money is the root of all evil.--??"

This almost as honorable as that elusive" life champions" trophy.

Big difference between earning that trophy based on athletic performance vs having a coach tell you you're a champion at life.
