1962 Gainesville was perfect (according to the Chamber!)

Interesting Gainesville promotional film by the Chamber of Commerce. Lots of familiar but very different sights. Couple of game scenes, homecoming parade, some campus buildings.

I saw that on FB the other day.................way way cool. I kept looking for old landmarks and even my grandmothers places.

Good stuff Alex...ah yes, the "whimsical" Santa Fe River...
I was a little kid from '65 to '69 while my Dad was in school there... good memories in that film.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the last football scene was of us throwing an INT.
