Yeah, but that's not the kind of crap I have repeatedly referred back to in this thread. It's the "it's already over" crowd that I take exception to. Reality is he's absolutely got work to do, but it ain't over yet - not by a long shot. And I'll go with your Dabo example of the "average" recruiter becoming an "elite" recruiter - with on major caveat: Dabo took a few years of rebuilding the Clemson brand before becoming "elite," and the way he did that was by winning with what he had. But admittedly, even if DM does land a top five class this year, and he does when 10-11 games, all the nay-saying will still go on as if nothing positive has happened - and that's reality too.
