It isnt a "success rate". Most of those offers are just Valentines cards.I saw this on FB post about the number of recruits Clemson offers:
- GA offered 248 recruits, 20 committed, that's a 8.1% success rate
- Alabama's class was a record class for sure; they offered 218 recruits, 27 committed that's a 12.4% commit success rate
- Ohio St offered only 167, 21 committed that's 12.6%
- Tennessee offered an amazing 479 recruits. In which 21 enjoyed those McDonalds bags. That's a 4.4%.
- Clemson - offered only 72 recruits, 19 committed - 26.4% commit success rate.
You need to be talking to Fooley and Fooley Jr the Mundee Warrior bc until the get in the arms race, nothing else changes.Do you enjoy watching the playoffs on replay every year with different names out there?
If true, the Clemson numbers are eye popping. Does this mean (again, if accurate) they don't take a shotgun approach and probably only offer the ones they really want. The others may be playing chess and keeping second and third tier recruiting teams distracted away from their real targets?I saw this on FB post about the number of recruits Clemson offers:

I'm not moving any goalposts. The reality of the situation is that the last decade has been lost because of **** coaching, crappy recruiting, and a lack of investment in any kind of modern infrastructure. We missed the cool kids club by a decade and are now trying to catch up but won't. Why you or any of the others around here think that's going to all of a sudden change with new coaches, harder workers, new buildings,etc......it is a waste of time. The reality is we are 1 of the 124 teams starring up at 5-6 others that will continue to own the playoffs and win every year unless something outside of our control levels the playing field.
Bama/Clemson have won 5 of the last 7 championship games, expect this trend to continue unless composite caps are put on recruiting and something is done. 19 of the 34 5 stars went to 3 teams, Bama getting 7, OSU 5 and UGA 4......this is the same crap the 124 fanbases see every year and its starting to make the product boring.
Do you enjoy watching the playoffs on replay every year with different names out there?
Knox is on Etch-a-Sketch, but this social media platform has yet to take offNo one’s saying it couldn’t be better in multiple areas. But the focus and commitment at the top is not there and it shows on many levels. Just the fact that they don’t fire, or force Mullen to fire, guys that are underperforming says they’re perfectly ok with it.
By the way, I’d be shocked if Knox sends recruits a text every week. Semi-monthly at best. And I wouldn’t be terribly shocked to hear Hev had his phone taken away after accidentally sending an anime porn clip to someone by mistake.
You're awesome.....please don't change! The playing field is level you twit. What we or other teams do about it is up to us.
You want to change the rules because you think it's not fair. It is fair. It just requires that you work.
I'm truly disgusted by people like you.
This is interesting - partially due to covid and partially due to the transfer portal:
Per 247Sports, FBS college football teams signed more than 400 fewer recruits to scholarships in the Class of 2021 than they did in 2020 and 2019. In 2021, FBS teams signed 2,215. In 2020 they signed 2,622, and in 2019 they signed 2,671.
Are you sure it wasn't 2128?Don't worry boys its all gone be better in 2028 with the completion of the football complex.
Let me break this down for ya. The sec writes a big ass check to for the same amount , to everybody. Alabama invest their paycheck heavily into their football program. The recruits wanna go there. We invest our paycheck in a baseball stadium and dipshyt football coaches. In return, recruits don't wanna come here. It's a very simple concept. concept.I don't know why everyone around here is still *****ing about losing 2-4 games a season? Until the NCAA steps in and does something about the Bama/Clemson/OSU's of the world essentially having 25 first-round picks every year, nothing is going to change! Sure you might get a once in a decade team like LSU to make all the right moves but that's not the norm and look at what they did this season.
Just accept the fact that no coach, no facility no admin change is going to change a damn thing unless we catch a once in a decade season like LSU. The only other fix is to sneak our way into the VIP section or have the NCAA instill some sort of star parody.
So why do you and others continue to bitch and moan as if something is going to magically change? Again,us and 125ish other teams are left starring up at the same 5-6 teams every year!Let me break this down for ya. The sec writes a big ass check to for the same amount , to everybody. Alabama invest their paycheck heavily into their football program. The recruits wanna go there. We invest our paycheck in a baseball stadium and dipshyt football coaches. Recruiting is basically a sales job. The best salesman always make you feel like they truly believe in the product.I'm wondering ... how much of any recruiting depends mostly on the recruiter's "faith" in the worth of his HC's program - one he can pitch with full fledge honesty? What subconscious attitude seeps through that recruits become suspicious of? Our recruiting is failing, big-time.
