OK, thru 2 the Mighty Gators have no hits and two K's. Note for Urg, USCe pitcher Jones averages 5 SO's per outing, got two and no hits vs UF in two

1-1 after 3 innings. solo HR by USCe in the first. Gators score on back to back doubles by Garrison and Robertson, our 8 and 9 hitters. Go figure. Neely has not walked or hit a batter, yet, so his pitch count is good.

A question for the gurus of baseball? USCe Friday starter Jones BA vs righties is .200 vs lefties they are hitting ,330. Sully's line up only has three lefties, two are always in the line-up plus Robertson in the nine hole. WTF, perfect night to try some other players to open the game.

His choices are basically Yost and Albert. Neither who have any power so that goes against Sully's HR or nothing style. And Albert has been awful defensively at 3B when he has played. But I am good with permanently putting Thomas on the bench. He sux

3-1 USCe after 6 innings. Back to back innings Gators have had runners on 1st and 2nd with one out and have not even hinted at scoring.

Neely out. 6 1/3 innings 107 pitches. Trailing 4-1. Pitched well enough but with our offense that cannot consistently put the ball in play, you almost have to be perfect.

FWIW tonight is the 13th consecutive SEC game that we have trailed in at some point. Probably lucky to be 6-6 and this one not looking so good.

And of course instead of going after him he nibbles around and walks the bases loaded. He then goes 0-2 on the next hitter and of course ends up walking him to allow a run to score. As much as this sounds made up, I assure you it is not.

5-3 USCe. 2 run HR by Cags, but could have been more possibly if Robrtson could have gotten his bunt down to 3rd as USCe defense was in a shift but of course his bunt technique was awful. After Cags HR we put 2 guys on but Heyman does nothing again.

So as Joe mentioned, USCe puts in another righty and when Yost a lefty is due up Sully pulls him for Guy a righty to PH. And of course a lazy fly ball.

Old folks Country Sausage comes in to protect a 2 run deficit and 2 pitches and a single later, Sausage is pulled for Slater. I know it is a matchup thing, but this is the things that you do when you are a bad team. And in its current form this is a bad team.

And Slater picks up where he left off Tuesday and allows a bullet to left center. 1st and 3rd no outs. USCe best hitter at plate. And an RBI single later, 6-3 USCe. Could have left Sausage in for this. Good times. And now a two run single. 8-3. See you guys tomorrow.
