Nothing to report. We have not been close to getting a guy on base and McNeillie has now retired 6 straight. Going to the 11th

Yost reached base but left stranded at 2B as we did not really threaten.

1 out double by Mizzou b/c Sheltnut loafs to get the ball in LF and the Mizzou guy was hustling. NcNeillie hits the next hitter but his run does not matter but did come on first pitcher after a Sully visit. that was not the plan.

Mizzou wins on a single to LF. Shelnut bobbles so no throw but he would not have thrown him out. Maybe the worst overall performance of the year by this team.

Shelnut needs to be removed from LF. Not a good loss at all. Need the next 2 games

He’s one of the worst defensive OFs we’ve ever put out there.

Problem is, you “need” his bat. Where do you put him? Can’t DH him cuz that’s Heyman’s role.

In a tie game late, why is Shelnut even out there? It’s obvious runs are at an absolute premium, where’s your defensive replacement?

That was underwhelming! I thought all the pitchers nutted up when we were in trouble they created. Mizzou stranded a mid major city on the bases tonight. Offensively the Gators were offensive,

I will stick with my prediction this is a .500 team.

Offensively 2 hits, 1 walk, 3 hit batters and 13 K's. Pitching and defense 5 Walks, 5 hit batters, 2 errors and 3 other defensive plays (lapses) that were not scored as errors.

Shelnut on bench today and Kurland back into the leadoff spot, draws a walk, but erased immediately by a routine DP hit into by Cags. We do squat in the 1st. Missed my prediction of Kurland back into leadoff by one game. Guess Sully finally saw how horrendous Shelnut is in LF. Just needed to check GC.

Lead off single by Mizzou followed by a walk. Good to see we are walking guys early again. Followed by Sac bunt. Run scores on a wild pitch. Nothing Heyman could do as Petersen has buried every curveball thrown. Followed by a single. 2-0 Mizzou. 2 stolen bases already by Mizzou. Another horrendous start. Deja vu.....all over again.

Shelnut must be playing 3B. my bad, but immediately strikes out with runners on 1B and 2B

First 2 hitters reach base, next 2 guys strikeout and Russel grounds out weakly. We are on fire early again.

2-0 after Two

Does is seem to anyone else that we are snake bit? No matter who we play, they ground into the gap, we ground into a DP. They hit into shallow CF, we pop right to the center fielder. They hit a ball that's too much for the SS to turn on, we hit it right to him for a routine throw. Sometimes I watch this team and wonder if there is anything they do well besides strike out.

3 up 3 down though we did draw another walk erased by a DP. Today is the team's 11th SEC game the broadcaster said the team has trailed at some point in all 11 of those games.

No. Maybe if we struck out less we too might get more seeing eye hits? Put ball in play and shyt might happen.

Both Evans and Shelton strike out again before Heyman grounds out. We are just warming up apparently.
