Didn't say it was. But lack of both was definitely a regular complaint amongst us fans.

It was(is) always dumb to change two variables at the same time. If SS was willing to completely commit to football for Napier, he should’ve at least tried under Mullen. The whole, “you have to ask” line was garbage track covering to hopefully buy himself time. It wasn’t a mystery where we were light years behind. Once again, we’re flat footed and reactionary. The timing was perfect for the next fraud to step in and tell us how dumb we were and how it would take a miracle to be competitive inside of two years. The silver lining here is people like SS, Foley, Tealer and Howard are being called out daily in various sites demanding their jobs. I guess it actually had to get even worse than we thought before it could get better. But we’re close.
