Nebraska loses DB Brendan Radley-Hiles
One of the nation’s top defensive backs is back on the market.
Brendan “Bookie” Radley-Hiles, a 4-star CB from IMG Academy, backed off his commitment to Nebraska on Tuesday. He announced the news with a heartfelt message on Twitter.

Radley-Hiles pledged to Nebraska back in the spring, but the Cornhuskers (4-4) have struggled this season and suffered back-to-back blowout losses to top-10 teams last month.
Oklahoma is considered the favorite for Radley-Hiles, but he has several schools still in play. Clemson and Oregon are also involved with the top-100 overall recruit.
Then there’s Florida.
The Gators led for Radley-Hiles early in his recruiting process, but that never materialized. However, the summertime commitments of his close friend — QB
Matt Corral — and his teammate — OL
Curtis Dunlap — renewed his interest in Florida.
Radley-Hiles wanted to have an official visit weekend at UF Corral & Co., but those plans are now up in the air due to Jim McElwain’s departure.
Florida commits recruiting Radley-Hiles
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the Gators, members of their 2018 class are still coming after Radley-Hiles.
Florida RB pledges Dameon Pierce and Iverson Clement both tweeted at him after his de-commitment Tuesday.

Again, Florida’s coaching situation needs to get settled before Radley-Hiles and other uncommitted recruits give the Gators serious consideration.
Prior to McElwain’s departure, Corral told SEC Country he was confident on Radley-Hiles.
“Florida’s chances are pretty big with Bookie,” Corral said.
The 5-foot-10, 183-pound Radley-Hiles is ranked the nation’s No. 7 cornerback and No. 49 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.
