5 Worst CFB program destroyers (coaches)

Alright instead of b!tching and belly aching over what we can't control lets make fun of some other prominent coaching disasters....Keep them within say the last 30 years and try to keep them among the more "elite" programs. We're looking for not so much off the field stuff but guys who royally f vcked up seemingly unstoppable CFB powers .Here goes some of mine..
Bob Davie - ND
Ty Willingham- ND and UW...he has 2 kills to his credit
Charlie Strong- Texas
Derek Dooley- UT
Will Muschamp-UF
Bill Callahan-Nebraska
Charlie Weiss-ND...he was barely above .500 there in 5 seasons
Rich Rod-UM....15-22 AT Michigan had them wishing for Lloyd Carr again.
Brady Hoke- UM
John L. Smith- Arkansas.....Not really ever considered a football power house, but the swiftness of John L. Smith's destruction is worth noting as it only took him one full season to obliterate a up and coming program to the point of being unrepairable by a competent coach for the last 5 years is worth mentioning......
I know it's more than 5.....

Goof is a good one but Mumme was at Kentucky and they really haven't been relevant since the 50's anyway..

Chimp should be the first one that comes to mind. He laid the groundwork (sinkhole) for Butters to perfect.

Maybe he should be at the top of the list for that.....That's damned near impossible

Yeah, frankly Butters has done more than Chimp to destroy the program.

Chimp had no idea how to use offensive talent, but Butters despite landing a couple more bluechip WRs has actually been worse. Chimp could at least recruit defensive players.

I think those are all pretty valid picks but Shannon kinda finished off what Coker started and I think his demise was a lot to do with off field stuff....
Kiffen came to mind and he could also get credit for a double kill with UT and USC....

I don't see how Urban Meyer gets left off that list. He can really really coach, but he hollows out a program and leaves it in shambles.

Yeah, that 2-9 season in 2000 was a great building block. Brick by brick. Guess I could have picked Joker Phillips though
