I've worn Moabs everyday for going on 20 years... with my Asolo Fugitives mixed in as needed.I love my Merrell Moabs and continue wearing them and would recommend them to anybody who hikes or walks long distances but with my current foot condition I just have to have a softer sole for anything over about 4 miles.
When I travel, I only take two backpacks... my camelback motherlode for clothes and shoes and stuff, and my arc teryx blade 24 as my "moblie office." I can't check bags given a lot of my connections and I always have everything with me. If you love your Moabs and want an overshoe that works for snow, water, mud, anything... i carry these in the bottom of my motherlode... also for going on 20 years. Neos overshoes are da bomb.
