When you put air on the plugged line is there pressure buildup or does it flow freely. Shut-off stem washer broke off. Lime/calcium plug....force vinegar down the line? Can you run a small stiff wire into it?
Pimps don't cry... just sayin'lol.....
Hey I wonder if maybe the cartridge broke off in the faucet and is lodged at a bend in the pipe or something...I've had one break off(Moen)on me when changing it....one of the few times I started crying as a grown man....
Pressure builds up and is released when I remove the hose. It’s plugged, but how, where?
ive run some wire down, but can’t get past the first 90-degree elbow.
I would try a smaller more flexible wire also I would pre-bend it in the direction of the 90 degree elbow, it doesn't take much of a bend.
Also can you tell a temperature difference in the copper pipe,, water and no water. Hot water makes it easier.
As a last resort beings it's a double sink, I would cap the plugged line an double up on your cold water line. I'm 74 yo and full of ideas
They just might if they couldn't turn the water back on without flooding the house for a few days....and it was my old house so there was no pool or lake nearby....Pimps don't cry... just sayin'

What seems odd is going in a day from all good to nothing. Usually a calcium or other mineral build up will gradually change the pressure.Yep -- can sweat pipes. I finished the whole basement (structural, drywall, electricity, plumbing, etc.)
I built a two-stage whole-house water filter (15 micron > 5 micron).
I just can't believe it died 100% (functioning and used daily one day, and dead the next).
If you think it's a mineral plug, would back filling with some vinegar be an option? I'd think overnight it'd eat through any calcium build up. Maybe follow up with a wire pipe cleaner? Just an odd thought
This sounds like an HGTV reality show. All you need is Cooter and JBoss as Cooter’s incompetent assistant for comic relief.
“The CD and Seedy Show with CC Cooter”
The show would suck ass, but my Wife would watch it anyway. She has terrible taste. She married me.
Alex.
You did open up a vent on the unclogged side when you put pressure on it. Open the cold water faucet on your sink should be enough.
Tried that too.I don't think that it will work but have you tried compressed air. You can get it up to 100psi or greater. Again open your cold water right next to it.
