Jalen Hurts at 6/1 looks like an attractive bet given that he's in the hands of the 2nd best QB whisperer (behind Mullen of course) in the country. Not sure the voters would be keen on giving the Heisman to an Oklahoma QB 3 years in a row though. If I lived near a legal sportsbook, I'd throw $10 on Franks though just for ****s and giggles.

You can bet on Franks to win the Heisman with the nice potential return of 200:1 at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook (according to this article from ESPN - Tagovailoa favorite to win Heisman next season). Anybody willing to back up their faith in him with a cold hard cash bet?

On a more serious note, it is interesting that he is at least available as a betting option, rather than simply falling into the "Field" category. I don't imagine any of us would have expected that to be a realistic option going into last season, so it really shows what a difference Mullen was able to make with Franks.

Great post. I, too, am very happy to see Frank's on the list as a specific entry. I won't bet on him winning the Heisman, but I'll bet on him him having an even better season than last. Credit to him, certainly, but equally if not more so to Mullen and crew.

Another point: I know we're a better bet than Michigan, and might be better than Texas, Oklahoma, and/or the Bucknuts. I also think there's a real possibility that we're better than the Dwags. Looking forward the the WLOCP this year.
