I picture Heavy or Crete as the driver.

I'd go broke from the gas bill... Flooring it off every light. And I would NEVER launch like that in 4hi on pavement especially with the added HP that turbo is bringing.

Why would you do that to that kind of truck.... just to do it?

To make it go really fast in a straight line? Testosterone? Inadequacy? Wouldn't a supercharger make more sense for a heavy truck anyway?

I think they do it to sell them to other guys.

More or less....Not on my Tundra that's for sure. Most trucks weigh so much you would have to turn the boost up to where they wouldn't be practical daily drivers to be as quick as a good hoonomobile anyway....Trucks are trucks and should be left that way...IMO.

Exactly. Seemed like some kind of commercial to me. But just a turbo in a crew cab 1500 might take a second and change off 0-60. A well off friend of mine has a giant diesel pavement pounder on 38's with all kinds of engine mods runs high 10 sec 1/4 times. Just cuz... And that's his daily driver. I'm with Crete, wouldn't bother doing that to my truck. Planning on an air intake and that's about it for mine

What's the purpose of someone modifying their exhaust pipe, on their "Rig", to come through the bed of the truck and point straight up? And also now a pipe that's 15" wide?

Don't forget replacing the stock horn with one of those train horns.

:bwahaha:

You also a Miata driver? 1500 = half ton truck (they come, generally in 1500, 2500, and 3500 or 150, 250, and 350 which are half ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks).

38s equals 38 inch tall monster truck style tires.

10 second 1/4 time equals a quarter mile track time.

What else didn't you get, pansy. I speak Redneck. I will help.

nothing other than getting attention.

I'm not sure how folks can deal with a jacked up daily driver. I'm completely stock and its not always easy getting stuff in the bed, wouldn't want another half a foot to lift stuff in there as much as I use the bed. Get an old beater, lift it and leave it in the mud.
