At this point, is progress more important than wins?

Like I said....Vandyish....and why stop when John L. Destroyer took over :lmao2:.
I was trying not to embarrass you and Pigbert.

John the Destroyer huh? I like that. THE mentor of Butterteeth. John L Fvkking Smith. How many years was Butters with John L Smith? 25?

No wonder Butters is so comfortable losing.

This is (another) lost season, so I personally am not that worried about wins and losses. I'm thinking about next year, the next five years, the next ten years. I think progress and underclassman experience is more important. We need to get every youngster out there on the field to see if they've got anything.

The only exception is the games against UGA and FSU. Those are rivalry games that are important to win no matter what the circumstances.

Am I alone in this thinking? What should be the mindset the remainder of the season?

As I pointed out in the off season, Muschamp was fired and McElwain was hired because UF's offense was substandard. So being a game or so better than Muschamp and having a pathetic offense that seemingly only tries when behind, is not doing the job he was hired for. Now whether the current UAA administration is willing to hold him to why he was hired, remains to be seen.
