If I were a Big Ten homer from Pennsylvania, I'd probably agree with you. Luckily I'm not.

The reason we got into two championship games despite terrible losses and into a decent bowl games when our record didn't deserve it is because of respect people have for the SEC.

I think t is correct here. Sure there are some settings(SECCG, major bowl game maybe) where it is somewhat appropriate. But too often the bottom feeders have ridden the coat tails of others and lived vicariously through the successes of others. It's a a double edged sword. I don't want the SEC to be viewed as weak, but I also don't want our rivals to have that much more ammo in recruiting. It doesn't upset me one bit to see one of them get stomped.
